We had a short stay at this hotel and couldn't find one thing that was not OK. We had a very nice room, big room, with a very good bed (boxspring). You can rent bycicles at the hotel and the people are very helpfull in showing where to go at Texel. One evening we had the surprise dinner at the... More

This hotel has only been open since finishing renovations a few weeks, but it runs beautifully. The staff is exceptionally helpful and genuinely friendly and the quality of the finishings in the rooms is very high. The hotel is clean, modern and thoughtful, and there are tons of small details that make this hotel special. Breakfast is varied with some... More

Nice and newly refurbished hotel in Texel. Staff is very attentive and service is personal. Breakfast has a good variety of food (croissants could be more buttery..) Dinner was excellent, but slow service. Swimming pool is nice but a bit small. We will be back for sure!!

Stayed in February 2014 whilst visiting Texel for business. Good breakfast here and the lovely Texel beer Schuumkoppe on draught in the bar. The bedrooms are a little 'tired' but the whole hotel is in the process of being modernised and should be a very nice hotel in 2015. Staff here very helpful to a none Dutch-speaking traveller

Stayed in Hotel Texel a night with a group of fellow aviators during our cross-europe flying adventure. I have nothing but praise for the hotel, it's staff and the restaurant. And it's conveniently located near the airfield, which is a big plus in my book.

We booked the hotel via a Groupon promo and arrived on a very cold, windy afternoon. While the ground floor is quite nice, we couldn't say that about our room. It was icy cold, obviously nobody made the effort to start the heating before we arrived, and it smelled even after two days like the storage room of the swimming... More

We found this hotel to be cosy but a little more attention to detail by the serving staff would have been better. Dinner was at 7.00 pm, take it or leave it although there was a choice that you had to make beforehand between meat and fish. The rooms were adequate but very noisy, you could easily hear the other... More
