This hotel is popular with coach companies and so works to a budget. The food reflected this; ok and a buffet so you can get what you want but not good. I was particularly annoyed with dessert; A cheap supermarket plain ice cream with canned peaches (day 1) Pineapples (day2) and custard (day 3). There was also no choice as... More

We stayed here two nights. We had to sleep with the our room stank so we had the window open & screen door closed (risking our security). We didn't ask for another room because we were with a tour group. Otherwise you can see they are busy with improvements. Bathroom is nice and they just did the fire safety installations.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during a coach holiday from South Wales. We had been travelling since 3.45am and arrived here at 8pm. The coach company had an arrangement with the hotel to supply a late evening meal and this was most welcome after a long journey. We had about 1/2 an hour to freshen up. The rooms were... More

Stayed in this hotel as part of a coach holiday,it is a lovely setting right next to the lake & marina. It is a short bus ride into the centre of Amsterdam but is a lovely quiet location. The food was appalling, I'm not sure if this due to the coach company paying the hotel a pittance but it was... More

My family and I were very unfortunate to have been forced to stay in this dump for two long agonising days,8th and 9th of August .I cannot figure out how it managed a 3 star rating, unless it is a misprint and it should be a minus in front of the stars, even then that would be generous. Upon arrival... More

What a dingy place. I have stayed in some budget friendly places but this place was just depressing and frankly revolting. The room was horrendous with dirty bedspreads and moldy drapes. There were stains in the shower, on the floor and on the chair. It was a depressing place to stay. More like a cheap motel or hostel. Food was... More

I stayed here in late June and expected worse than what I found with the reviews I read here. While I didn't find anything dirty, I do admit things could've been updated a bit more. Our room was clean and spacious, as well as the bathroom. As I said, it could've been a bit more updated. New bed covers would've... More

Stayed here for two nights in really hot weather in July. No air con but if you leave the window open with the fly guard across the window locked and close the curtains you do get a draft. We were downstairs and felt safe. The bells did chime frequently from the tower from the village but once you got used... More

Was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews, but we found this hotel much better than expected and certainly a whole lot better than some we've stayed in!! Arrived late, but a meal - and good food at that - appeared immediately. Can't fault the breakfast, there's something for everyone - cereal, cold meats, a wide selection of breads and... More

Stayed here with 2 other couples on a National Holidays trip in June. Never again.Pool of dirty green stagnant water at the base of the hotel steps. The entrance and reception looked like they had not been cleaned for months and whole area was very dark. The bedroom was along a very long corridor had no wardrobe space or any drawers... More
