I recently stayed here for two nights as part of a Contiki tour group. The rooms are very basic - a bed, old CRT TV, coat hangers and a desk & stool. The second storey room I stayed in had an external door that was unable to be secured. The bathroom had a putrid smell that seemed to be coming... More

Stayed here 10th to 13th July. Had a good trip but the hotel was poor. Firstly there was hardly any storage in the room i.e. no drawers and only a small wardrobe. bathroom had only a small shelf for storage and only two bath towels per day and no hand towels. Food was average at best. This was a drinks... More

We stayed for 3 days, the room was comfortable but lacking the kettle and teabags etc, the view from the balcony was brilliant. The free bar in the evening was good too. Sadly the food let the hotel down. The continental breakfast was ok but the evening meal could only be classed as adequate on the first 2 evenings. The... More

I came as part of a group tour for one night. The rooms are very loud because the hallways are tile. As soon as the first roller luggage bag came out at 5:30 am, it was a constant stream of noise up and down the hallway. The traffic noise outside during the day does not add to the ambiance either.... More

If only a few updates and this would be rated higher. If at all possible, first floor overlooking the marina, the balcony is small, but nice to look out; the cow must be cheap to keep and does not move very far ! We stayed as part of a coach trip, bed and breakfast, evening meal, some good and some... More

A bit of a remote area away from Amsterdam where you'd want to soak up as much of the area as possible. An older budget hotel with minimal/no frills. Order your meals early else you'd not get any. Does not add to the typical Netherlands experience one would hope for when travelling abroad.

Hotel is very outdated and frankly pretty dirty. I was not comfortable walking barefoot in my room because of cleanliness. The barmaid was AWESOME, very friendly and helpful. Next time I would stay closer to the city. Oh and Wi-Fi NEVER worked during our stay.

We had a great 2 nights stay in this hotel, the rooms were very spacious, comfy beds, fresh linens daily, tasty breakfasts, good bar, friendly helpful staff. our room overlooked a harbour quiet room with veranda. it was a few minutes walk from a Beautiful Village with a Saturday Market and quaint shops, Bus stop nearby with regular buses in... We visited this hotel as part of a coach tour from South Wales. Firstly I would like to explain why I have only rated this hotel as "average". The hotel itself is quite dated and in need of refurbishment. If this hotel had some money spent on it, it could be superb as in a fabulous position in the town... More
