For the second year running I attended a large conference at this seaside hotel. The hotel is well suited for large groups and the staff made a number of special arrangements to ensure the conference run smoothly. Food was served in a buffet restaurant with reasonably good selection, but after a couple of days there are no new surprises. The... More

I stayed in Hotel Zuiderduin in June 2014for a couple of days while attending a conference. The hotel offered basic minimum rooms for a reasonable rate. Rooms were plain, cluttered with odd furniture items, with little floor space. There was neither a fan nor an AC in the room though a radiation heater was provided. My room was on fifth... More

This large hotel caters primarily both for conferences and seaside holidays. The hotel looks like it was built in the 1980s and is starting to appear a bit dated; it is clean and comfortable, but not particularly characterful. Egmond aan Zee is a pleasant little seaside town (and much neater/cleaner than most equivalent British seaside towns); the nearest railway station... More

This large hotel contains everything that you could need for a medium size meeting. The food served in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch is good and there is plenty to choose from. The rooms are large and supplied with both shower and bathtub. There also many possibilities for recreation, including work-out and bowling. The location is also very good,... More

Nice hotel,100m from the sea. Rooms are comfortable and big. A number of activities is possible: swimming in the pool, sauna, beauty treatments, squash etc. Breakfast was rather of medium quality and variaty. The vast majority of guests are families or over 70 years-old.

The Zuiderduin is a typical congress hotel. Rooms are average and could use a facelift. All meals are served in the massive dining hall, the selection is decent, but nothing special. On the positive side the beach is just a short walk away and there are some nice restaurants nearby. Also, there is a squash court in the fitness area,... More

This is a purely congress hotel with no friendliness designed for large meeting groups. The reception has no mercy for even a 20 min. later checkout tolrence even if you are ill, as it was in my case. They have very strict military style approach to tourism. The food quality in the restaurant is mediocre. There is no bottled water... More

we had 3 rooms on the 3d floor 10, 11 and 12, all of them had ocean view. They have a nice indoor playground for little ones. Big rooms! Disadvantage is: there is only one lift. It takes often time to get hold of it.

Hotel was less good than expected. Rooms need to be redone - old carpet on the floor and atmosphere not cosy. However the location at the beautiful beach compensates for it. It was the first breakfast in a hotel we did not eat - even the scrumbled eggs tasted weird. Had breakfast outside, there are lots of lovely places.

More than 200 colleagues assembled in this hotel for Company Meeting 2013. Located close to the North Sea. Hotel with huge capacity and many facilities. Tastefully decorated with painting of great masters like Van Gogh and Claude Monnet. Efficient Front office. Big Rooms! Elaborate buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beautiful arrangements for Conferences. Had guided cycling trips. Saw fields full... More
