The property is absolutely beautiful. It's so peaceful and relaxing. The hosts, Joyanne and Richard are friendly, attentive and helpful. Joyanne helped us to make dinner reservation and book a trip to tour Able Tasman National Park area. It's busy season and it's no doubt that all reservations have to be made in advance. We would probably have trouble to... More

While we we staying there however there were other guests staying there who seemed very arrogant and didn't... More

We stayed with a family of 5 (3 kids) for three days and were disappointed about the lay out of the room which had a double bed and a folding bed barely separated through a wooden fence. Very impractical with kids. The price level is not at all reflected in the services. The wifi (if any) is very poor and... More

We had a wonderful two-night stay. The setting among the apple trees and peonies was charming. Breakfast was fabulous. Our hosts were welcoming and engaging, and we had many interesting conversations. Thank you Richard and Joyanne for a memorable stay.

Wairepo House is a wonderfully, charming country B&B nestled on a two hundred acre apple and peony farm. The rooms are amazingly appointed, the setting superb and the conversations with Joyanne and Richard are stimulating. They have much to share so be prepared to listen and learn. The gardens, farm and Rosie the dog are memorable. We will return.

Best hosts you'll find! They made us feel like VIP's and are so easy going and fun with lots of experience and knowledge. Wairepo House is BEAUTIFUL, we truly couldn't have been happier with our stay. My 3 sisters, Mother, makeup artist, hairdresser and photographer were all blown away by the setting and B&B facilities. There would have been no... More

Wairepo House is a stunningly beautiful B & B, located in sunny Nelson,on the South Island of New Zealand on acres of apple and fruit orchards. The owners, Richard and Joyanne treated us like friends in their home. Our spacious and comfy suite was sumptuously furnished and equipped, with bottles of wine and beer, snacks, beverages and luxurious toiletries. We... More

We had large rooms in a great setting. The owners and hosts, Richard and Joyanne, couldn't have been more helpful and informative. As this is a family in the apple growing/shipping business for generations - we spent hours getting educated (by choice) on apples and NZ. Fabulous breakfasts. Highly recommended!

This tranquil oasis was one of the highlights of our tour of the south island. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable but the star was the garden which is simply amazing. Joyanne and Richard are fabulous hosts - lovely breakfasts and excellent advice on what to see and where to eat and charming company. One day after spending hours... More

The hosts, Joyanne and Richard, are great people. We had a busy schedule while staying here, but they made the time to have breakfast with us. The room was OK, the bathroom had its best time. We loved the gardens and the surrounding estate. The hosts did what they could to make us feel at home here.
