We slept in a 'Hoeve' room, it was fabulous there. But since we were at a wedding and had to check out before 11 it felt like such a short time. I bet we'll return to make the most of our time here. The bride enjoyed the bridal suite very much, they got all kinds of extra yummie snacks at... More

Like one of the previous reviewers we also had a high end bongo bon. Stay in a suite with a 5 course dinner and wine included. Oure experience was totally different then the one we read before. In fact we hessitated a bit to decide due to that review. They gave us a sauna suite in the tower, a truly... More

Nice castle in romantic location, very quiet and relaxing. We slept in a room facing the horse stable. Breakfast very good. Bring with you the right shoes for a walk in the near national park. Roermond is the closest village, very expensive car parking, we suggest you to park at the close outlet parking (3 euro all day instead of... More

We were four couples for a double overnight stay and enjoyed every minute of it, thanks to the splendid location of the caslte hotel and the very friendly staff. The rooms are in a separate building. During our last night supper, one of our ladies got sick and was immediatly taken care of by the staff (Bedankt, Wilbert!). Castle Daelenbroeck... More

A lovely setting for an interesting hotel, we had a charming room in the courtyards across the grass. Most unusual in that It had a suite downstairs with antique furniture and a very comfortable en suite bedroom upstairs overlooking the huge grounds. Nice breakfast in the dining room, long glass windows with tables and chairs outside if sunny. Will make... More

This hotel has an historic atmosphere about it. Some of the foundations of the hotel are clearly from another era. The receptionists were so very friendly and helpful. I only speak English and German but the Dutch people generally speak a various amount of languages – which could put some of us to shame I feel! My room number 6... More

We had lovely time staying in this hotel. The rooms are lovely, with nice views. I loved the velvet chesterfield couches in our hotel room! We also had the high tea and breakfast in the restaurant. Both were lovely with very attentive waiters. Also, the option to use the pool, sauna and jacuzzi in the neighbouring hotel Vlodorp was very... More

The retorated castle houses the reception and restaurant. The newly build castletower has af few very well equipped rooms, well decorated and with lovely views! Tip: try dining in the restaurant and with nice weather on the terrace near the water.

We have eaten here a few times now. The restaurant overlooking the castle's own moat is breathtakingly beautiful. I can see why this is a popular wedding venue because it is charming ... if you can say that about a castle! :-) The bar opens up to a lovely courtyard which is relaxing to sit in the early evening sun....
