this hotel was the worst i've ever been to except russian ones. i never even expected from family dutch hotel such inhospitality and impudence. they canceled one of singles we reserved without any excuse and i had to stay with a friend in one single which later was charged as a double. when i asked about that, i was sent to one very faraway place by personeel. i had to ask for a soap, breakfasts were poor, sauna was open till 8 because they did not want to work longer (just for information - if you come to ameland in summer, at 8 you are just back from a beach, had a dinner, and ready to had a sauna) i also remeber only one! smile from all the people during my stay. so, if someone wants to go to ameland and spoil your vacation and impression of this gourgeous island - go to hofker, they are the best :)
