Cons: 1) Receptionist was not welcoming. 2) She saw that we were carrying heavy suitcases to the second floor and didn’t say that they have elevator. 3) There was no kettle or coffee machine in the room. 4) The window in the room was not clean (see photos). 5) Terrible view from our window. We paid significant amount of money... More

I stayed here with 3 friends to visit the BSB at Assen and wow what a magical little place .. The hotel is fantastic as is the food .. Friendly staff and gorgeous surroundings .... We will be back ... For sure - it's a 20 min drive to the track .. Some good places to eat surrounding the hotel... More

Beautiful in winter and would be stunning in summer. Good walking and bike riding area. Hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Would definitely go back any time of the year. Surrounding area was very scenic and we would have explored more if we had been there longer.

Stayed for one night when on a tour. Great hotel, breakfast buffet was very good with a great choice of breads and sweet things. We stayed in the building opposite, room was very large. The only problem I can foresee is that we were on the first floor next to the church..the bell rings every half an hour so on... More

We stayed in Hotel Wesseling for a short spring break. The hotel has a nice cozy country atmosphere; the staff is very kind and helpful. The restaurant offers a nice variety of food either as a-la-carte or set menu. The rooms are clean but need definitely to be modernized and some more comfort. A fridge would be nice too.

A good, comfortable hotel in the centre of a small, pretty village. The service was slow to start (it took a while to attract anyone's attention to check in) but very good after that. The food was excellent and the restaurant staff attentive. The room was good with a comfortable bed. Couldn't make the television work, but that is a... More

Hampshire Hotel Wesseling is a pleasant hotel in the village center. The hotel consists of 2 seperate buildings. One is called “De Brink Hotel” and the other one is called “Wesseling”. The first one is closest to the church with bells ringing every half hour. We’ve stayed 3 nights in Hotel Wesseling and it was a pleasant stay. Our room... More

Good hotel. Nice rooms and qualified staff. The food (diner) is less than expected. Presentation is not good, taste is okay. Lunch and breakfast are good. Nice village, quiet and near to a very beautiful nature reserve. Yes, the churchbells ring also during the night. I slept through it though. And it is a beautiful churchtower to see.

A very nicely appointed hotel with comfortable rooms and an excellent restaurant. We stayed 4 nights and were very satisfied. The hotel doesn't have any off road parking but there is a fair bit of space out front and around the side. Dwingeloo is fairly quiet so it's not a problem. Internet acces is chargeable which isn't very good these... More

Room not at all like commercial pictures. My room was yellow, with one big closet glued to the walls all around. No free wifi. Food not very good. Every half hour churchbells from across the street. Two person room was two separate beds: beds were very light, so didn't stick together.location is excellent though: very beautiful surroundings.
