The Sun Palace, Albir is a spacious, comfortable hotel that fully deserves its 4 star rating. Have just returned from a weekend away with girlfriends at the sun palace. It was perfect, it is extremely clean. We had a sea view overlooking albir all the way to altea which was stunning. Arrived at hotel and were impressed with standard of accomodation if not location. Evening meal did not commence until 20.30 hrs and the selection was abysmal, the hot food was luke warm, a microwave was kindly provided! The staff were polite but could not speak English.
