I stayed here one night as part of a solo motorcycle trip around Spain. The standard of the facilities and rooms within the Parador were very good. The service from staff was neutral at best. I was charged for parking the motorbike in an unsecured area which was annoying. The food in the restaurant - as in most Paradors in... More

We chose the Parador de la Seu d'Urgell because of its proximity to the bus station (about two blocks away). We had hoped to take a bus into Andorra for an afternoon, and this plan worked out well. The bus to Andorra la Vella left every hour and cost 2.80 euro per person. If you plan to take this same... More

A beautiful old convent in the centre of the town. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet and the whole atmosphere is one of peaceful relaxation. The staff are efficient and friendly. They have 2 carparks one of which is under cover ( 15 euros ) and the other open air ( 8 euros ). The breakfast was delicious. Note for smokers:... More

Really disappointed with this one. The setting is poor. The room was small overlooking a disused swimming pool (yes, I know I should have asked to move). Staff were a bit off-hand. Food average. Probably the worst parador we have stayed in,

After a hike in the Pyrenäen we stayed for a night to recover. They seamed to be surprised by us being dusty. After that all was perfect. Breakfast was ritch. The lighting of the floors at night makes an amazing effect. Not a cheap stay but value for Money.

Very basic rooms with little to no views of the mountains. We had booked two rooms for two nights and because of the poor ambiance, we asked if we could check out a day early the evening we checked in. The manager agreed that night, but when we checked out the next morning they refused to cancel our second night.... More

Excellent place, parking reasonably priced – 7 euro, very helpful staff and especial mention to Xavier who gave us time to decide on the option of half-board without pressure. Very nice room with veranda, very courteous and helpful staff, and all for a third of the price of the Parador in Hondarribia! (See my other review) As we chose half-board,... More

On our Motor cycle tour we came from France through Andorra and arrived at this nice Parador. Firstly it had good secure undercover parking for our bikes which was important. The entrance to the hotel offer a splendid view into the quiet cloistered interior which is inviting and very comfortable. Our rooms on the first floor faced east and led... More

Having stayed in hotels of various types and quality in our tour of the Pyrenees, it was a joy to spend time in this Parador. The bedroom was large, comfortable, quiet and with a lovely view. But it's the beautiful public room (the cloister) in this hotel which makes it special. We had a very good meal at a good... More

My husband and I spent one evening at the Parador de la Seu d'Urgell in order to break up a long trip from France to Spain. We were looking for accommodations that were in the Pyrenees. While this location is actually in a valley in the mountains, it did offer lovely views of the mountains. The town is charming, as... More
