Very good location in Palencia, walk into the town centre for dinner or along the river. Hotel is average in my book, but I have not stayed in many hotels in Spain so I do not know if it is average for Spain to be fair. Wifi is free. Cost of a room Euro 48.00 with extra E7 for breakfast.... More

Very close to the city center. The room was clean and and spacious. The receptionist was speaking english just enough to get all the informations. They also helped me to arrange DHL delivery for my job. The breakfast was good. The swimming pool, also made my staying much better.

Great stay at Rey Sancho! Perfectly fit our needs for my brothers wedding (which as at the hotel too) We stayed in a suite, comfortable bed, cots for the children, and sofa area to sit. Clean, great breakfast included, and friendly staff. Very close to Calle Mayor and the shopping. I will stay there again!

The location of the hotel is very good. It is practically 100 metres from the starting point of the Calle Mayor. Given that Palencia is such a small place, this is extremely good. However, at the same time I do not see a lot of tourists going to Palencia and hence do not know how much value this will add.... More

The hotel is ok. It is clean, but dated, and the staff were a bit scarce due to it being Christmas time. The kitchen's weren't exactly running at full steam either, so food was non-existent outside of breakfast. Not sure I'd chose to stay here again, but there really aren't too many other options in Palencia.

We stayed here after a bumpy crossing on the Bay of Biscay. The hotel was extremely reasonably priced with a relaxing casual bar/restaurant. Try the peppers stuffed with Bulls Tail and the Bonito salad. All excellent.

Really handy for a stopover on the way to the ferry at Santander. Secure parking is available but there is ample outdoor parking at the side of the hotel and off road. Restaurant was superb. We hit the hotel on the day there was a big family aprty and the main areas were quiet busy. Pool not open in May

This hotel is not a 4 star. Its a 1 star at best. Avoid if at all possibe. I bought one drink at the bar outside (the one inside was closed) and the barman tried to rip me off on the change. The hotel is scruffy and needs knocking down. Warning: Their secure parking isn't secure. Its in a garage... More

We were driving back from Portugal to the UK and needed to stop in Spain for the night. Palencia seemed a good place to stop and we literally just pitched up at this hotel. Luckily they had a treble room as I was travelling with my husband and son. The hotel was a four star so 91 euros for the... More
