a luxury hotel in a beautiful, with a fantastic landscape Castilian monastery. Our intention was to reserve a room, but the treatment of the cafeteria and some lack of cleanliness made us extend the trip to Logroño. The coffe-bar had a few food service and noted for his unkindness, a shame for special place in Palencia.

Indifferent, almost condescending welcome - just because I have walked here? Bag in a store room had to collect myself - would it have hurt to have brought it to reception for me? Chambermaids met near room very friendly. Clean, roomy bedroom and bathroom - sadly overlooked a car park courtyard rather than the cloister. Hotel decor and style can't... More

I was there for 2 nights. The hotel is really good, the room was big and clean, the bath is also large. The only point of the hotel is that if you prefer the bar for the breakfast there are limited options for taking. The surroundings are also great don`t skip walking through the town and enjoy the good local... More

This is an excellent Hotel in the outskirts of Carrión de los Condes (about 10 minutes walking from the center of the city). Absolutely calm place with a nice park. Large and very clean rooms, with well equipped bathroom and views to the courtyard or the park. Free wifi and ample space for parking. Very friendly and competent staff, both... More

Stayed one night after arriving in Santander and going south. Arrived in time for dinner which was excellent and well served by friendly staff in wood beamed room. Check in was easy and efficient into this old monastery. Room was clean and very acceptable on the second floor with air conditioning and great view over the courtyard. Buildings are very... More

This hotel is a very well converted monastery into a now comfortable hotel and is an especially convenient stop when heading south from the northern Spanish ports. We had a junior suite for €133. It had a good comfortable bed on a mezzanine level with a small sitting area and a downstairs bathroom which was a bit basic. The rather... More

Sitting here now on the patio. The place is really pretty and the front desk staff were amazing! The room is nice and very clean. My biggest complaint is the waitstaff. That can't be bothered to do their job. I actually had to go and ask for a knife and fork for my dinner and they just laughed. Kind of... More

We loved our stay. Booked last minute and got a great deal. People at the desk speak English well but aren't the most friendly. We only got dinner at the bar and breakfast - both were fine but not great. Still a very lovely place - we liked it so much we tried to stay another night (but alas, it... More

During my walk on the Camino de Santiago I decided to treat myself, and what a treat this was. Quiet chanting in all the public areas set the tone for this magnificent rehabilitation of an former cloisters by a group local Spanish developers. On the edge of town it provided a wonderful sanctuary with a large room and bath with... More

We have stayed in this hotel twice whilst walking the Camino de Santiago. It's one of the more expensive options, but the building is beautiful and the hotel is right on the camino. The rooms are not overly luxurious, but comfortable and well-equipped. The wi fi worked well.We thought the dining options looked a bit expensive, so we walked back... More
