Just returned from a week at Club Calimera, had booked on the spur of the moment without reading any reviews, hopefully you are reading this first before booking! The hotel was full of probably 95% Germans so unless you can speak German I would not advise going. The entertainment looked fantastic - couldn't understand a word as don't speak German!... more

we have just returned from our holiday. We was moved into calimera hotel as our hotel had over booked. Calimera is a German hotel (us being British) . All the staff were extremly pleasant, nice and friendly towards us especially the animation team, they translated information to us in english and encourage us to join in with the games and... more

The facilities at the hotel were marvellous. Food was excellent and location was good. We enjoyed its position as it was close to beach and was good for walks into Playa Blanca. For us this was ok but for people wanting to be nearer the centre it was a good 45 minute walk. Entertainment every night and the All Inclusive... more

Location - Club calimera is not in the main resort, despite what your online agent will tell you. the holiday was sold based on the hotel being in a quiet fishing village - not quite. It is situated on the far south side of the resort approx 7kms away. There are no amenities in that area, no shops, restuarants. You... more
