I've just returned from a weeks holiday here with my father and two children, The bungalow we stayed in was very basic the tap in the bathroom was wobbly, the plug socket in the kitchen wasn't really attached to the wall properly, and the tiled skirting some was coming off, the dining room gets very busy the tables aren't cleared... I've been in this hotel for two nights, because my girlfriend had booked there. I can only say that the staff is ok, kind and helps where they can, but some things should be adjusted. The food is better than no comment because I would be too bad. As the location is quiet, but far from the beach. I do... More

We asked for and got the same bungalow we had the year before which had a walk in shower(knee replacement) My husband and I share a birthday on 21st... More

Lovely large pool area and plenty of sunbeds. The dining room gets very crowded at times. Food average but could always find something to eat. The evening entertainment area is fairly small for the size of the complex and has the only bar. Seating is not adequate to allow everyone to see the shows. Perhaps when the weather is warmer... Just returned from a nice relaxing holiday at this hotel. The grounds are very well kept as is the pool area, in fact the whole place is very clean and tidy. The staff work very hard, always with a smile on their face and always polite and friendly. They seem to make a fuss and genuinely like the little children.... More

Just had a week at the Rio Playa Blanca, with children aged 2 and 4. Hotel ideal for families, especially with younger children. Quiet, friendly hotel with lovely staff. Kids club, where kids can do painting and making things with Nanika, and kids disco at night although bit late for younger ones as doesn't start till 830. Nearest beach is... More

Holiday was 17th - 24th March 2014 Arrived at the hotel where the male reception member looked after my suitcase and sorted out the paperwork and directed me to the dining room as he was wary that it was about to close the lunch service which I thought was very god of him. My bungalow was near the entrance and... More

Stayed here from 2-9th March 2014. The hotel rooms are small bungalows and are very spacious. They each have their own patio area. Staff were very friendly and extremely hard working. They never seemed to be off duty. The dining area did get a bit overcrowded after the first few days which I didn't like really, not keen on lots... More

This was our second year at Rio Playa Blanca. We are a family with 2 boys aged 12 and 13. There is always plenty to do or not do. The food is amazing and staff are the friendliest we've encountered especially the animation team. Cannot praise them highly enough, especially Quinn, Julie, Nanneke and Bob. They made our holiday extra... More
