We holidayed here from 28-6-09 to 5-7-09 and our only regret was that we didn't book for 2 weeks. The hotel is fantastic, we had a 1 bedroom suite which was extremely spacious for a family of 4. The rooms are equipped with a microwave and fridge which are ideal when travelling with young children. Everything is spotlessly clean, as... more

Just returned from 2 weeks here with our 1 yr old and had a great time. A few negatives to start though:- Pools - As per previous comments they are very cold, far too cold to enjoy. The weather was hot but hardly anybody was using them apart from a few brave kids! Food - Over priced and sub standard... more

This was our second stay at the Princessa Yaisa it is an excellent hotel with wonderful facilities. The choice of food is very good in the buffet resturants and as a treat you should try isla del lobos (A la Carte Great views wonderful food) and the tempanyaki Japaneese (great expierence if a little over priced). The staff were very... more

We stayed here for only 2 nights after the villa we were staying in was burgled. We were only 3 days into our holiday and decided to fly home early after the burglery. We couldn't stay at the villa so checked into hte Princesa Yaiza for 2 nights. They were simply wonderful to us, upgraded us to a suite free.... more

We were a family of 4 adults who stayed in this hotel for a week on 20th April. I cannot believe the criticism of one reviewer of this hotel and staff because this was not the case in our view. Yes you may find a more luxurious 5* hotel in Las Vegas, Dubai, or the carribean. We can compare with... more

Our second visit, to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary. The free bottle of Cava and truffles most welcome. Lovely comfortable 1 bed suite with huge bathroom - double sinks, sunken bath, walk in shower. Pool area a little crowded with bed chairs - not really necessary as we were out of the school holidays. Fantastic buffet breakfast with lots of... more

We stayed at this hotel for a week at the begining of May. It is a lovely hotel, beautifully furnished and good attention to detail. We ate at the hotel twice and although pricey the food was of a high standard - especially for spain. There are several restaurants, plenty of space around the pool and the hotel is literally... more

If you a family and looking for a large good hotel this is the place for you. If you're looking for a luxurious 5* break with great service don't come here. Superb location on the coast and nice large rooms but what really lets it down is the staff. Poor English, arrogant, not very friendly and I would not stay... more

We arrived for an 11 night stay in April 2009. Our luggage was whisked away at reception and we were both given a complimentary glass of cava as we booked in with reception. We were initially asked to pay 200 euro deposit which we declined and it was waivered (apparently it is for room service). We were upgraded to a... more

I have to confess to not expecting much from Lanzarote. The brown landscape isn't up to much, it has to be said, but the resort of Playa Blanca is superb and this hotel is the icing on the cake. The whole place is done out beautifully, down to indoor waterfalls and it's all kept so clean. There is a choice... more
