Along with most reviews we found the Casa del Embajador a wonderful, quaint and relaxing place to stay in Playa Blanca. It is not the usual large, corporate resort hotel – it has only 14 rooms I understand – but it has enough luxuries and nice touches to make it work. It is very definitely for couples rather than families,... More

My husband and I stayed here for a week from 27 March to 3 April. We booked the suite and it was well worth the extra money, having a large room with sitting area, a lovely big bathroom with separate toilet alcove and patio doors leading out to the terrace. The large fruit bowl in our room was a lovely... More

We have just returned from 14 nights staying at this wonderful hotel. The position was spectacular overlooking the sea and within a stones throw of the bars and restaurants. It was quiet at all times. The rooms were lovely even if the bathroom was small. The cleanliness of the whole property was exemplary. The breakfast was good with a choice... More

Had really been looking forward to spending a holiday at casa del embajador . In general we were disappointed with the accommodation, it most certainly wasn't of 4 star standard. The rooms were very small with very narrow beds. The bathroom was so small, barley enough room to stand when you got out of the bath/shower . During our stay... More

The position of Casa del Embajador can't be beaten, its centrally sited on the promenade. It was one of the original buildings in the resort and is built in the colonial style. There are only 12 bedrooms and a suite therefore its very peaceful. When you're sunbathing on the terrace listening to the waves pounding the prom. its hard to... More

Had 8 nights here and they were great. Room was v clean and well furnished. Fresh fruit available at all times and breakfast brilliant. If you need a double bed ask for room 12 or the suite. This place is so peaceful you can lie in the sun listening to the waves, BUT exit the green door and you're onto... More

First of all, I love Lanzarote and Playa Blanca. It`s the only place I`ve visited six times! Last New Year`s we (I and my husband) decided to stay at Casa. The most important thing is the location. The rooms overlooking the ocean and Fuerteventura, a few steps away from my favourite promenade (and one of my favourite restaurants - Brisa... More

It's like being in someone's country house, but overlooking the sea right next to a fabulous promenade and very good restaurants, without seeing people and only the sea and Fuerteventura in the distance. No fuss, lovely living room, breakfast in the open courtyard when it's dry, great terrace..but the room is not big (but a good bed with cotton sheets... More

Reading the reviews I thought this place might be too quiet and too reserved, so we played it 'safe' and opted to try it out for just 3 of the 7 nights of our Christmas break. The minute we walked in we instantly knew that we were wong and that we should have booked the entire week here. It is... More

What a place! Ideally positioned in Playa Blanca, halfway between the marina and old harbour. Our first time to this resort were delighted that our 1 week New Year break to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday was hot and sunny, with sunbathing most days. Stepping down steps out of a 'secret door' from the hotel onto the promenade we were... More
