Just back from 3rd visit.Large rooms, acres of space and relaxed feel. Never overcrowded. Quiet but easy access to marina. Superb buffet menu at breakfast and dinner. Good bar service, The Gin Experience and the new Quiet Zone well worth several visits. Management and staff always improving things. Will return.

Hotel Volcan I stayed here for 4 days with my wife and two sons. We initially stayed in a standard seaview and then upgraded to a seaview suite. First impressions were wow..., what a beautiful building with a reception that was located at the top of a dome shaped structure complete with plant life and a waterfall. Checkin was quick... More

This was our first visit to Lanzarote and to the Volcan. Its classed and priced as 5 star and although we paid the extra for the Club Area we really didn't feel it was worthy of the extra cost. On arrival we were rushed through reception not quite the welcoming you would expect from a 5 star hotel. While we... More

Just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at this wonderful hotel. We booked the club section which was well worth paying that little extra. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace (spectacular views) as well as the private dining at breakfast, with cooked breakfast made to order. The staff were all very accommodating and nothing was too much bother. Although the... More

This was our fourth trip this year to Lanzarote. The Volcán Lanzarote is an interesting hotel, it’s classed as 5 Star and we stayed in the Club area, essentially 38 rooms in a gated complex, with a roof swimming pool and bar. The roof has some excellent 4 poster sun loungers. The bar service was good and the lunch meal... More

This was my second visit to the Volcan Lanzarote. Overall, it is a very good hotel. Spacious, well equipped rooms, beautiful grounds and reception areas. Ideally located for the restaurants and bars in the Marina Rubicon. The staff all attentive and pleasing. The only exception being the Belgian man in reception whose manner is abrupt and somewhat offensive. I note... More

My husband and I have just returned from a holiday here. The room accommodation and amenities merit 5 stars, as do the service at Reception and the general design of the hotel. However, in some respects this hotel falls short of what we have expected and found in some 4 star hotels in Spain. There is the ongoing rudeness of... More

Nice hotel, our room was excellent, large, great bathroom, big balcony, no problem here. we were B&B basis and we found the breakfast choices fine. Reception a little off hand particularly the gentleman from Belgium who I found quite rude in his manner. Pool areas, of which there were several, all lacked nice shaded areas and not enough sun umbrellas. Also... More

This hotel lacks in a number of ways . The food available in the main hotel is slightly below average , service leaves something to be desired and the pool areas look a bit shabby ! Having said that we paid extra for Club Volcan which gave us access to an adults only area, free cakes and tea every day... More

Beautiful hotel, fantastic service, attention to every detail, I even found a bottle of champagne cooling in an ice bucket in my room on my birthday....they really go out of their way to make a stay in this hotel a very special experience. I decided to go at the last minute as I was very stressed, and came back a... More
