I came home from my weeks holiday on Sunday. My first time to Lanzarote, and any of the "THE" hotels. I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is in a perfect location, only a stone's throw away from the marina, with a secret hotel gate. Loads of restaurants to choose from (recommend "la Taberna" tapas, looks nothing but... More

Very nice hotel, nice, comfortable, spacious rooms, great location close to some of the most beautiful beaches of the island. Very good breakfast and good service from reception staff. Excellent swimming pool. Only a minor issue: coming back at about half past midnight I asked for some water and have been told that it was not possible to have it... More

We have just returned from another fantastic holiday in the Club Rooms [17th July] and have already booked for 18th Sept for 2 weeks in the Club Rooms, We particularly liked the pool and sunbathing area, the minor problem from time to time was the shortage of parasols, but the rest was stunning. The food quality and selection for dinner was... More

We have just returned from 12 fabulous nights at the Volcan Hotel with our 2 children. It was our 4th stay at this spectacular hotel and it was better than ever: The staff are so welcoming, accommodating and friendly; the rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable; the food is varied, delicious, healthy and abundant; the spa is fabulous and... The Volcan hotel is charming with a special warm and friendly atmosphere, in an ideal position next to the Rubicon marina. All the staff from the management to the cleaning staff are very visual courteous friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. Rooms are spacious with wonderful marina and sea views. Cleaned beautifully every day, linen and towels changed daily, and... More

We upgraded to Club Volcan and we were not disappointed. Private a la carte breakfast was wonderful, the first hotel where I could ask for soft poached eggs or get a proper omelette , with lovely crispy bacon and lovely sausages (I usually don't eat sausages when I am on holiday) cooked to order and brought to your table. Tea... More

I checked out the hotel on tripadvisor prior to our trip, as we had not booked into "the adult club" we were dreading because of comments left by others. We were pleasantly surprised and need not have worried. The room was more than adequate, we had a ground floor spacious room with a terrace onto a sunbathing area. This is not... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This luxury five star hotel, the Hotel Volcán Lanzarote, has a prime location on the seafront and together with the “Marina Rubicón” yachting harbour it constitutes a tourist resort in the southern part of the island - an area that forms part of the UNESCO’s “World Network of Biosphere Reserves”. The hotel is located just 10 km from the Timanfaya National Park, 900 metres from the picturesque fishing village of Playa Blanca, where you will find shopping centres, bars and restaurants, and just 30 minutes from the International Airport of Arrecife. Andrés Piñeiro, the chief architect of the project, chose a design based on a complex of classical buildings that are a true reflection of the typical architectural style of the island. The design of the hotel is reminiscent of a typical village of Lanzarote, with romantic patios, traditional courtyards and secluded spots, together with the magnificent hotel entrance which is a replica of the Teguise church of “Ntra. Sra. de Guadalupe”. With its unique architecture and the distinguished service of a luxury hotel, the Hotel Volcán Lanzarote is an icon within the high end segment of the tourism sector. ... more   less
