Just arrived back from mar amantis 29/07/08 to 05/08/08 These are my genuine personal ratings of this hotel:- Hotel is 1 to 2 star Dinning room Food poor and luke warm,Dirty floor and windows,grubby furniture. ,Bar area :- Worn grubby furniture poor quality/quantity of drinks no cocktails!! snacks only available when chef was'nt having a tantrum! only one person cooking... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in June and overall thought it was a good hotel. The room was clean and fresh towels given every day. Be prepared to be woken up at 10.30am each morning by the same CD everyday which is the hotel entertainment and just a bloke saying 'welcome' in a few different languages... more

the Mar Amantis i thought was in a good location away from it all the other side of the main night life (west end) a good 35 min walk (brisk)and it was excellent walk along the seafront, or you could take a boat ride outside the hotel it takes about 10 minutes, it still had some nice bars near by... more
