First off, we had no interest in the mega-clubs located in Ibiza. If you do, this hotel might be a bit too far away. However, there is so much to love about this hotel. First the hotel overall: It has a nice spacious lobby/bar/lounge but its mostly filled with older couples. Germans and British especially. Not that that is a... More

Travelled 3 times to see friends in Ibiza this year always staying in a so called "posh" hotel. I was often curious of the hotel opposite, it seemed so popular with all ages. I started asking around about this hotel called The Gran Sol and even took a look myself one night. I ended up having the most enjoyable night... More

Yup, this had to be the most bizarre thing about this Hotel! Stayed bed & breakfast from the 20th - 25th Spetember - during what someone on the Ibiza Forum on tripadvisor advised was "the rainy season" as it hadn't rained for 6 or 7 months this year and only stopped the day before we were leaving! Arrived around 9.00... More

If your looking for somewhere to decent to stay in Ibiza then this is the hotel to go to. We went for a lively holiday but wanted somewhere clean and safe to stay with a nice pool and that's exactly what we got. The hotel is extremely clean and is in my opinion better than a two star. Our room... More

I stayed here with 1 of my girly friends in the first week of Sept. The place was so clean. Towels changed everyday and beds made every day and changed twice a week. The pool area was also very clean. There was lots to shoose from at breakfast. The staff were really helpful and I really liked the fact they... More

This hotel is in a great location (realistically, taking into consideration the heat, etc) you are ten minutes walk from Cafe Del Mar (you have to watch the sunset!) and a further ten minute walk from the west end (all the pubs and clubs, etc). It may seem like a bit of a trek, but if you are looking for... More

Just back from the Grand Sol and agree with the positive reviews. The hotel is very clean and in the best location. The room was pretty basic but a decent size and the free fridge and safe was an added bonus. Thanks to the hotel staff for giving us a sea view as requested. There was a good variety of... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The family-managed Gran Sol Hotel is one of San Antonio's favourite, modestly priced hotels: it lies in a quieter corner of the resort just a short walk away from the town centre and beach of San Antonio. There is a fresh-water swimming-pool on a spacious sun-terrace complete with loungers and sun-shades. There is also a garden with lawn for more serious sunbathing. The small sandy beach of Caló d'es Moro is less than 100m from the hotel whilst the beaches of Cala Grassio and more sophisticated Cala Grassioneta are a stroll down the coast. ... more   less
