Our one bedroom apartment was a good size, spotlessly clean and had a good view. There are no lifts though so make sure you request a ground floor room if you have problems with stairs. We were on half-board and the food was ok - we've had worse abroad! If you are on self catering then the kitchen facilities are... more

Just returned from Key Club (Terrace Club). Booked with On the Beach, fantastic value for money. Car hire recommended (this cost just 98 euro for the week) as the location a bit remote. Only a handfull of the apartments were being used which meant that the pool and gardens were deserted. Lovely quiet holiday with a beautiful sandy fishermans cove... more

15/09/2008 Stayed here for one week during September had read some reviews which were of varying comments but to my surprise the apartments were of a very good standard, very clean and quite roomy although a bit basic but this was reflected in the price we paid for the accommodation. We were lucky to have a ground floor apartment as... more

Where do I start? This place is in the middle of nowhere and feels very eerie at night as there are few lights on and the streets are deserted. Kitchen facilities are abysmal - no kettle, no toaster, no oven. The food in the restaurant is inedible and is paid for by weight! There are just a few vats of... more

We paid £127 for a week in a 1 bed apartment for 2 people at the end of September 2008. I'd read some reviews and arrived with a little trepidation. However the apartment (in G block) was spacious and very clean. The kitchen had only very basic equipment, but it was enough to make a cup of coffee and keep... more

Nice appartments, basic but OK. Beds are not good. You need to FIGHT for towels. The beaches are awesome and the pool is OK. The worst part is the staff. They are BEYOND rude. They do not care about you, will not help you and curse at you in Portugese. Unbelievable. You can go there, make sure you have a... more

I am writing this review as i too went here last year in September and a fantastic holiday. I admit the apartments were basic, but when you are paying lower end prices you cannot expect the ritz - you get what you pay for in life. The reception staff were always happy and friendly and helpful to us (maybe they... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of April and found that although certain comments that have been made are valid, it is not as bad as portrayed. We found the apartment spacious and spotless, checking in was done with a minimum wait and the staff were curtious and friendly. The food as we had gone... more

The best bits were the stunning beaches and the weather. The worse bits, where to begin? The first thing we encountered were the miserable, rude and unhelpful reception staff - unbelievable! The apartment was spacious and fairly clean, kitchen useless - no kettle, oven, toaster, microwave. Rags for towels, hard beds, pillows not fit for use....towels only changed twice in... more
