I loved to stay at El Pendola, a family run hotel. It was great for us because it was very quiet, very friendly, and they have their own restaurant, so we could have good dinners there and drink plenty of wine. I would get back there anytime!! If you have an own car, you can do lots of day trips... More

What a fantastic weekend at this nice small Albergo. It's all in the hand of the family. In the middle of some wine grape field. Silent, clean air, local food. A amazing restaurant only around 10 tables but high end food! All this for average prices. If u want to avoid the mass tourism off Lake Garda (20 min by... More

This family driven Agriturismo is nietly decorated and each room has a personal touch. The owner Anna-Maria and her son Enzo really take care of their guests. We have stayed here several times and been given tips about wineries, hikes and anything you might be interested in. The food is excellent (try their truffles or mushroom pasta !) and the wines... More

It´s a very nice located hotel and restaurant. The rooms are individual designed by the owner Ms. Anna Maria and give you the moment of relax. You will feel like home. Ask about wine, oil and food and you will be served very well. The distance to Verona and to many nice places is short and it´s good to rest... More

We received recommendations for this hotel from our family member so we knew it would be good experience, just didn't prepare ourselves that it would be this great! Our room was very clean and tidy, you could feel the personal touch with the stuffed animals on our beds, and other small stuff. Staff was very kind and helpful. Location is... More

We went there to eat one evening, but did not book a room. So this is a restaurant review. Food there is typical from the veronese and colle veronesi areas, and everything was absolutely delicious. Wine is also delectable -- this is right within the Valpolicella-- their own Recioto and Amarone are especially recommended. Service was friendly and people were... More

We had wanted to stay near Lake Garda, but could find no openings anywhere, so we looked inland on the internet and found this traditional Italian family owned estate in the middle of a vineyard, where they produce their own wines, olive oil, lotions, etc. We looked forward to "Grandma Nomi's homecooked meal" only to find upon arrival that no... Anyone travelling near Verona must stay here! We visited a local winemaker (this is in Valpolicella) on our way to Lake Garda and he brought us here and introduced us to the owner. She greeted us like family and for 72E (including an extensive and lovely breakfast) we had a beautiful suite with four poster bed overlooking her vineyard! The... More
