We found this spot through Trip Advisor trying to find places near our villa in Fabro. We took "back roads" to get there and were a bit hesitant as it took us a while to finally get there but were thrilled with our experience! We had a private tour of the winery, getting to see all the back room details... More

We visited Tenuta Vitalonga for a dinner and wine tasting followed by an overnight stay at the villa. We had twelve in our group and everything was fantastic. The setting of the winery and the accompanying villa is spectacular, with remarkable views out over Tuscany and Umbria. The dinner was delicious and inspired, classic Italian cuisine with creative twists, set... More

Beautiful spot to enjoy wine and experience this magnificent part of the country. Excellent lunch paired with wine. We walked the vineyard and also toured the facility . Now we are sitting outside having lunch . The host is serving us, each course is a surprise !

Vitalonga is an excellent winery and also has an idyllic restaurant. To taste their wines, a lunch is served to be able to sample all their wines . Their location is fabulous, overlooking the valley. Before lunch, the wines were explained and we were given a tour across the winery. After that, we had lunch outside (splendid day). We started... More

Went to Vitalonga after a visit in Orvietto - it's a little off the beaten track but worth it! Pier will give you a wonderful tour, and then host a spectacular lunch in a beautiful setting The wine, the food, and the setting are all 5 star

We popped in to make our reservations two days before to find ourselves having a tour by one of the owners, Francesco, and then sitting down to one of the best rose we have tasted. We asked about swimming pools nearby as the one on the complex we were staying at was closed. Francesco said we could have borrowed his... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Vitalonga for two wonderful nights. It was our 14th wedding anniversary and Gian and Pier Francesco made us feel very welcomed. We were the first to try their 100% Sangiovese wine they are now making and we gave it raving reviews! When we stayed we happened to have the whole... More

My partner and I had the opportunity to stay at Vitalonga for one night in February 2010 and it was the highlight of his trip to Italy. The winery is only an hour and a half by car or train (take the train to Fabro station and you are then 10 minutes from the winery). When we drove up to... More

My husband and I, along with our two elder boys (and girlfriends) were taking a day trip through southern Umbria when we came across Vitalonga Estate. What a find it turned out to be! It really made the highlight of our trip. Francesco, the owner, greeted us so warmly and gave us a tour of the facilities and the cellar.... More
