We stayed for 7 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful, but more important they staff are very attentive and friendly. The room was very comfortable, and breakfast was good. We enjoyed the olive oil tasting and learned a lot about olive oil which was very interesting. Also the cooking lesson was good. I can recommend Villa... More

In April I reported about developments at Campestri. Having just spent a further glorious week there I am delighted to say that it continues to be a paradise on earth. Nothing is too much bother and everyone does everything possible to make your stay amazing. The chef has proved a true revelation; his daily changes to menu (now on display... More

If you want to be spoilt and relax in beautiful surroundings villa Campestri is the place for you. I have just spent a wonderful week at the villa which is a beautiful renaissance building with elegant comfortable rooms surrounded by grounds containing sweeping lawns and olive groves. The whole experience was enhanced by efficent friendly staff and a chef who produces... As most of the people who have left reviews have said this is a wonderful place to relax.Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, rooms are great, views are fantastic and the food! We made sure we got back every night for dinner it was so good. An hours drive to Florence, bit more to Sienna and Pisa but all `doable`... More

We have just returned from a week's stay at the Villa Campestri, where we enjoyed a truly wonderful time. The Villa is situated in 140 hectares of unspoilt grounds on top of a steep hill with stupendous views over the countryside below. The present owner has restored the Renaissance building sympathetically without spoiling the integrity of the building, retaining as... More

My family and I had a lovely stay at Villa Campestri. When we decided to go to Florence I first looked at hotels in the city but we decided to experience the Tuscan countryside and we are so glad we did. I booked a triple room but was upgraded to an apartment upon our arrival. The rooms are very spacious... More

I did not plan to stay at Villa Campestri but when I visited my friends and saw the beautiful estate I asked for a room and was lucky enough to get the last available one. The location is spectacular and not even an hour from Firenze airport. The last bit of the road is narrow with two dozen tight turns... More

This place is a well kept secret. I stumbled upon this hotel while booking a trip for my mom and I to Italy and we couldn't have been happier. We only had 2 days at the resort and the weather was horrible but it didn't matter. First and foremost, the food is amazing. If you are a foodie you will... More

We didn't stay but ate here one evening while staying nearby. Slow service was off set by lovely surroundings and tasty dinner. All the hotel guests were gathered in the lobby for the wifi- SO time for the hotel to invest in a few internet wifi routers!! Lovely spot and a delightful place.

This was our third stay at the Villa Campestri. We had a fantastic welcome from Sandra at the front desk and found all the staff as helpful as ever. We had a lovely junior suite on the top floor with amazing views over the park and valley. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious and well equipped. This... More
