The place is located in the hills around Vicchio and the view is spectacular. It is not a big place - 5 apartments... More

Wonderfull summer vacations with our children the first years, then May and September vacations on our own. Attulaio is peace, beauty, enjoyment, friendliness and hospitality. Rosanna and Paulo, the unique owners and hosts, are most kind... More

There are plenty of footpaths for those keen on walking, mountain biking and trekking.A little swimming pool will refresh your hot days here und will amuse your children. Other facilities, such as a private football ground, a ping-pong table and a room, where you can play drums or use some fitness tools, are put at your disposal for a total relax. In our farm you will be in direct touch with the nature and the peasants’ everyday life of the hilly district of Mugello. If you are interested in knowing more about the products of our land, you could also directly join the landlady on the field, trying to get acquainted with the tricks of the trade. The farm produces chestnuts, kitchen-garden products and extra virgin olive oil. The establishment is situated 600 meters above sea level and enjoys a panoramic view. It’s only 8 km away from Vicchio di Mugello, an old village enclosed by walls dating back to the fourteenth century. Vicchio is the native town of renowned artists such as Giotto and Beato Angelico. The Attulaio farm promotes and produces the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) chestnut.Besides that, all its products are excusively Traditional products: very fresh eggs, excellent potatoes, high-quality olive oil, peculiar chestnuts, delightful aubergines, abounding salads, bright peppers, natural peas, juicy tomatoes, genuine beans and marrows and a little bit of strawberries, too. With little good will you can set out in search of products spontaneously offered by the woods and the country-side all around the farm: the delicious and very rare little wild strawberries, blackberries, figs, apples, cherries, pears and, above all, mushrooms. ... more   less
