We had our wedding reception at Castello di Bibbione and the majority of our guests and my now husband and I stayed on the grounds for 3 days. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The rooms are rustic, well kept and have a wonderful ambiance. The villa is a great place to stay for a large group... More

Rooms are furbished in cozy traditional style and due to heavy stone walls you dont need to use airconditioning. Surrounding is just beatiful, if you prefer stone & greenery tuscany style, this is your place. you can just walk or bike into Chianti countryside. Great starting point for trips to Florence, Sienna or other smaller towns around. there are couple... More

While on a recent wedding venue scouting trip, my fiancé and I stayed the night here. The rooms that we toured were epic-ly large and well appointed. If you're a fan of 13th century stone and poured concrete you'll certainly be at home here. The facilities were comfortable and the staff went out of their way to show us a... More

Over the years, my husband and I have been here three times, with family and with friends, never to be disappointed! The staff is always so helpful, the villas have that special feel of Italian authenticity, the scenery is beautiful, the grounds are lovely and the location very good. We like to stay here and visit Florence and the surrounding... More

The place and people of this area are unbelievable. To be able to stay in this isolated area was something special. The ladies managing the place were gracious as were the gentleman providing breakfast. Wine tasting and castle your was informative. You must go to town and eat at Cafe di Bule. The family owns both the grocery and the... More

We stayed at the Castello di Bibbione for 3 days in early October. How exciting, driving around and looking up at the hills that are capped with castles, and then realizing that you are staying in one! Wow. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment, the Poggiosanto, which is in the chapel building (yes!), the parsonage. Beautifully decorated with antiques. Two... More

Found this place on line, so was a little anxious about what I was letting us in for! However, I needn't have worried. The place was fab, fantastic views glorious weather and only 15/20 min drive to Florence. stayed here in August and would recommend it to anyone. If I was to complain about anything it was there were quite... More

Went here for our friends wedding. It was perfect! If I have to find anything negative the worst I can come up with is: a bit filthy baths, no "automatic" refill of towels and tp. There was no outside lighting one of the nights. Slow Wi-fi... You know it's been great when theese are the only things I can "complain"... More

We were fortunate to stay in the large villa with its own private pool since there were 9 of us; four adults and five children. The kids loved the fact that it was a castle with many rooms to explore. The pool was the highlight as it overlooks the beautiful Tuscan landscape. The major issue I had was the lack... More

We travelled to Tuscany and my wife wanted to sleep in a REAL castle. We researched the region as we wanted something close to Florence. We found this beautiful property that has breathtaking views and we were able to sleep on one of the rooms inside the Castle. It was great as the room was HUGE and even had a... More
