We wanted to see other areas in Tuscany and decided to stay at Borgoni since it is still closer to Florence. The room was modest in terms of luxury but nevertheless it was good enough for us. We had little chats with the owners and some of the friendly staff which we enjoyed. The restaurant was very cozy and relaxing... More

We were so fortunate to have come upon Poggio Borgoni as we were in Tuscany planning our wedding. We dropped by just to have lunch at the Osteria and we are so glad we did. After having the most fabulous Tuscan lunch, we decided immediately to have the welcome event for our guests the day before the wedding here. Katia... More

We spent three nights at Poggio Borgoni and we are thrilled with the service, food and hospitality. The hotel is conveniently situated in the outskirts of Florence and it is superb for travellers like our group, who wanted to enjoy the Tuscan countryside, but be in close proximity to Florence. The staff is so willing to help with information on sightseeing... A lovely and quiet pied-a-terre in the Colli Fiorentini, close enought to Florence to easily drive in for the day or take the bus from San Casciano. San Casciano itself is a charming little town with nice shops and restaurants. The staff at Poggio Borgoni were excellent, extremely helpful and always friendly. Rooms were lovely and very clean, bathrooms spaciaous... More

We had a fantastic time here, beautiful rooms, very helpful staff and wonderful food. We only stayed two nights and wish we'd have stayed more, set in a beautiful location with a great view of hills and neighboring vineyards, a great restaurant who are very accommodating, free wi-fi, and great breakfasts in the morning. They had offered to pick us... More

i loved staying at Poggio Borgoni. The elegance of the area cannot be beat. Wonderful staff who were very helpful and kind. The owner, Palio obviously loves what he does and is around to see that you have a great stay. Unbelievable! That's the best way to describe the service at Poggio Borgoni! Yes, the location is beautiful with views of the Tuscan scenery! And yes the food is excellent and the beds super comfortable...but what really sets this Relais apart is the excellent service! We were two couples enjoying a tour of Italy, and this was the third stop of... More

We have just returned from a 4 day trip to the Relais. The best way to describe it is like a little bit of heaven. It was the most amazing relaxed place, we didn't hire a car so was a little bit cut off, but all in all this was a good thing as you had no choice but to... More

There are many bed and breakfast establishments that provide an authentic Tuscan experience. However, finding one that has nice rooms, an exceptional view, a superb pool, a lovely restaurant, friendly staff, and decent home vineyard wine is rare. This place is one of them. Their Chianti Riserva is worth a try. And leave room for breakfast , their spread is... More

This particular Inn was the absolute highlight of my trip to Italy. It is set in the hills of Tuscany surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, lemon trees and sunflowers. The staff was wonderful, the setting divine and the food, although a trifle expensive, was phenomenal!!!! I didn't want to leave and I would most certainly go back in a heartbeat!!
