We stayed only one night, unfortunately, but the experience was superb. starting from the place with a 360 degrees view on the Tuscany campaign, continuing with the small but cozy room and finishing with the sympathy of the owner and staff that made our stay unforgettable. Very good for a romantic break but even for a family vacation.... no danger... More

We stayed 3 nights, used as base for exploring Florence and Toscana. The hotel is ideally located for that. 5 minutes drive north you can get a bus that takes you right to the middle of Florence in 15 minutes so no need to worry about parking. 5 minutes south is San Casciano that has awesome restaurants (Cinque di Vino... The B&B is located very close by Florence and is newly built. You can only get here by a dirt road, which is fairly steep. The rooms are nice but fairly small, fairly clean, though the shower doors in the bathroom grow some mold. The breakfast served is plentiful with some fresh fruits. The view from the terrace is very... More

Just returned from a 7 day trip with wife and 2 year old. The Fonte del Macchiavelli was a perfect B & B with a great location. 30-50 minutes from Florence, Siena San giminiano etc. Service was excellent and very friendly. The owners were very helpful as well. Breakfast was abundant and served on the terrace with a great view.... More

Spent a week based here which was convenient since it is only 20 mins from Florence and a few minutes from the A1 Autostrada (highway). The B&B itself was nice and clean, rustic style, had a nice pool which was a bit chilly - great after a day traveling around under the Tuscan sun. The breakfast was great, especially for... More
