Though remote and a bit hard to find, this is a lovely property that was once a medieval village. There are several buildings with rooms and suites as well as a winery, two churches, two restaurants and a very nice pool. The service was excellent and Salvetore, the conciege was extremely helpful. We ate breakfast and dinner all six days... More

Borgo San Felice is a medieval village of a hotel. Our room was beautiful, and the setting exquisite. Loved our bathroom, which had heated towel racks which enabled my laundry to dry fast, I didn't have to pay sky-high prices for laundry service. They make their own wine and offer wine-tastings with a really informative salesperson. There are two restaurants,... More

I recently stayed her (July 2015) and while the property is beautiful, the rooms are merely ok. It would appear that the rooms have air conditioning, but based on the 2 rooms I tried to stay in the AC is less than adequate. I stayed in a deluxe room that had no view. And the second room I was in... More

I would love to give this hotel a five star review on all counts, were it not for the patchy housekeeping and lax service at the pool bar and the Terazza Restaurant. Borgo San Felice is one of the most delightful places we have stayed at. San Felice is the actual village with many of the buildings serving as rooms... More

An idealic retreat outside of sienna, with amazing service and tranquil calm. Recommend it as a base for seeing the area or for a few days chilling out. Recommend the less formal restaurant particulary for lunch and a game of boule in the shade. Staff can't do enough for you. If there was anything to improve I'd suggest some (e)... More

We wanted to visit Siena, and of course the Chianti Hills with my family and considered the Borgo San Felice for that occasion. It was a great choice, this hotel is a Relais et Chateaux and we are 5C club member. The place is on a top of a hill, a village renovated that makes you feel to be more... More

From the moment you drive up the service begins. Everyone is friendly, English is spoken, and you give your car keys (we drove) at the desk and luggage is in your room when your reach it. Everyone at the front desk is a concierge, and you tour the grounds and then your room where a bottle of wine and biscuits... More

We have been coming to San Felice for 15 years the hotel and grounds are perfect. We have seen many changes over the years and feel they have all been improvements I have read with interest other comments on staff and at some level I could agree but then l remember that l only have very very limited Italian and... I stayed here just a week ago and was blown away. In fact, the resort was so great, I canceled my planned stay at another property after one night and returned here - it is simply peerless. From the perfectly manicured grass tennis courts set amid the vineyard, to the stunning pool and terraces, a stay at the BSF makes... More

Have stayed in some wonderful places around the world, but this was definitely the best. Spectacular setting, room and amenities were first-rate, attentive, friendly and helpful hotel staff, and dining at La Terraza restaurant led by Luigi Clesceri was one of the highlights of our trip through Italy. So much so that we cancelled other dinner reservations so we could... More
