It was a bad start when trying to get to the hotel, we argued on staying and choice of place, once we got there, welcomed by the owner, we realized we are in Heaven. Wish we could have stayed there more, and its like just perfect. The Owner Mauria, the staff, the presentation, the place, and the positive energy you... More

This was not our first choice for a hotel in Bolgheri, but we are very happy this is where we ended up. We needed a place to stay that was convenient to two wineries where we had appointments and it was perfect. The property is beautiful with rolling hills, a pool, sheep, gardens, restored buildings. It is a very relaxing... More

Honestly, we were quite suspicious given the great ratings throughout. But actually, every star/point is well deserved. In fact, my wife and I decided that this has been one of the greatest hotels we have stayed in, ever. Bibbona is not very pretty compared to other Tuscan towns, but that doesnt matter, the hotel is located outside the village in... More

This beautifully reconstructed hotel is part of a massive estate, outside the small town of Bibbona. There are three buildings, one of which houses the massive and quirkily furnished lounge and the airy restaurant/breakfast room. The grounds are extensive, the views typically Tuscan, with rolling hills and cypresses, and there are sheep. There are many fine vineyards and olive groves... More

This small boutique hotel is beautifully set in a natural landscape. The common areas are very well appointed and there is plenty of space which is adjoined by large gardens, fruit trees and shrubs. The views are spectacular. We were impressed with the friendly staff and the service quality was exemplary with plenty of thoughtful advice for visits within the... More

Beautiful countryside location, isolated yet near to wine country and beaches, interesting sights in small mountain towns. Warm ambience and decor for the common areas and the rooms themselves. Great service by some of the staff, who went out of their way to describe or assist. Dinners were delicious and provides whatever is fresh on the day. Lunches were ok,... More

where to start, where to finish. This place is really beautifful. My girlfriend and I spent 3 days there. It is very well located close to many places quite famous in chianti and the great thing is that you really feel you are just alone. Service is good. Not exceptionnal but good. But this place is exceptionnal by its location,... More

My husband and I have spent our vacation there twice and have recommended it to my sister as well. We all agree that this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. It is situated in a beautiful landscape with wonderful views and peace and quite in abundance. The old farm buildings are beautifully renovated and the... More

What a find! Romantic, sophisticated, oozing with Italian charm, Relais Sant'Elena was just what my husband and I were hoping for. Just an hour's drive from the Pisa International Airport and 20 minutes from the Bibbona seaside. An idyllic boutique hotel nestled on a Tuscan hillside, every detail tastefully restored and exuding a sense of calm and tranquility. The landscaping... More

We spent here 3 nights in the end of June. Must say, this is a wonderful place, where you can feel like in old times. In the middle of nowhere, perfectly designed, with perfect service... Breakfast is very rich, with a lot of cakes, natural juices, hams, cheeses, eggs, fruits...etc... Well, the labels with instructions are everywhere, but its rather... More
