TomTom in our rental could not find no.1 so we ended in a dead end beach path... As friendly as all people we met in the area, a police car escorted us to the entrance. The hotel itself has everything you expect from a 4* plus their own beach with chairs and umbrellas next to the swimming pool. Staff was... More

My friend and I stayed at Villa Romana in the hope of a peaceful and relaxing break. This hotel was perfect for just that! It's a very warm and friendly hotel and located right next to the beach, which is ideal. The hotel is rather secluded so you won't get very far without a car (bus services are not great... More

We stayed here 4 nights with the intention of relaxing and recharging our batteries. This was perfect. Scala del Turchi is a 15 min walk along the beach (Do not miss this if you come here) and Porto Empedocle is a €10 taxi ride away (Some very good restaurants on Via Roma). The immediate surrounding area is not great and... More

The plus of the place is definitely the location, only 10 minutes walking along the beach to reach the "Scala dei turchi" (quite a site), and the pool to freshen up when back. But that's it. The personnel is not really friendly, the air-con was out of order, so was the tv, so was the shower. This hotel has no... More

Nice hotel if you like walking on the beach and don't mind to drive in Sicily. Friendly staff and relaxing stay guaranteed. Be patient when try to find this hotel-look at signs carefully and do not turn on to one way road!

Although difficult to find, this hotel was very good. Our room was clean and comfortable. Parking was adequate and the area around the hotel was scenic with a beach about 20 or so yards from the hotel entrance. Our rate included dinner which was very good. The pool was in good shape with plenty of lounges. We were unable to... More

Arrived at 10pm with confirmation in hand, to be told we had no booking and the hotel was full. After what seemed like hours, they suddenly said they would take us to another hotel ( at their cost) and to return the following day for the remainder of our trip. No apology given but complimentary lunch and dinner offered. It... More

I disagree completely with some of the other reviews. For what you pay this hotel is amazing. Lovely pool, right on the beach and the restaurant in the evening serves really lovely food. Vincenzo, who spoke amazing English went out of his way to help us during our stay. I would definitely stay again if I wanted to visit this... More

This hotel suffers from or exploits the fact that most people probably stay at most two nights as a base to explore Agrigento. Is location is in fact not very convenient except for a walk along the shore to the Scala dei Turchi. It presents well enough but a little of the surface glitter in the lobby and restaurant reinvested... More

Pleasant Hotel, despite being out of season and the restaurant being closed. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Room was fine and clean. The view from our balcony was splendid, and the sunsets from the south to SW facing room were spectacular. Wifi in the hotel was available for the majority of time except for a brief break during poor weather.,... More
