The plus of the place is definitely the location, only 10 minutes walking along the beach to reach the "Scala dei turchi" (quite a site), and the pool to freshen up when back. But that's it. The personnel is not really friendly, the air-con was out of order, so was the tv, so was the shower. This hotel has no... More

Nice hotel if you like walking on the beach and don't mind to drive in Sicily. Friendly staff and relaxing stay guaranteed. Be patient when try to find this hotel-look at signs carefully and do not turn on to one way road!

Although difficult to find, this hotel was very good. Our room was clean and comfortable. Parking was adequate and the area around the hotel was scenic with a beach about 20 or so yards from the hotel entrance. Our rate included dinner which was very good. The pool was in good shape with plenty of lounges. We were unable to... More

Arrived at 10pm with confirmation in hand, to be told we had no booking and the hotel was full. After what seemed like hours, they suddenly said they would take us to another hotel ( at their cost) and to return the following day for the remainder of our trip. No apology given but complimentary lunch and dinner offered. It... More

I disagree completely with some of the other reviews. For what you pay this hotel is amazing. Lovely pool, right on the beach and the restaurant in the evening serves really lovely food. Vincenzo, who spoke amazing English went out of his way to help us during our stay. I would definitely stay again if I wanted to visit this... More

This hotel suffers from or exploits the fact that most people probably stay at most two nights as a base to explore Agrigento. Is location is in fact not very convenient except for a walk along the shore to the Scala dei Turchi. It presents well enough but a little of the surface glitter in the lobby and restaurant reinvested... More

Pleasant Hotel, despite being out of season and the restaurant being closed. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Room was fine and clean. The view from our balcony was splendid, and the sunsets from the south to SW facing room were spectacular. Wifi in the hotel was available for the majority of time except for a brief break during poor weather.,... More

We arrived at the hotel from Aci Trezza near Catania where we had stayed at the very excellent Lachea Hotel. We had trouble finding the Hotel Villa Romano as the directions don't mention where to exit the main road or that the road leading down to the hotel, Via Mediterranee is one way and that you must go to the... Small room, compensated by a big balcony with seaview, equipped with sunbeds and a parasol. Clean. Little to choose from in the minibar, just water and mineralwater. Good A/C. Safe in the room. Nice breakfast in a beautiful "ballroom". The coffee was brilliant, aswell as the pastries.. Poolarea was great and they also had sunbeds on the beach. The hotel... More

Villa Romana seemed to be one of the best options in the area, but despite this being probably true, standards have to increase sensibly. Hotel is relatively new but style is somewhat surpassed, rooms are ok (we had a sea view with big terrace but the view itself was not spectacular and chairs and chaise longues were dirty and not...
