We stayed here for three nights (29 Apr - 4 May). Very clean and comfortable accommodation set in a beautiful country location. The rooms are spacious with a good sized bathroom. Our room had heating and air conditioning and was supplied with tea making facilities. Breakfast was on the terrace (weather permitting) and included home made products and a variety... More

We were fortunate to stay here for 3 nights in May. Daniela the owner and her father who manages the olive orchard producing finest quality oil and a delightful, unusual pure olive oil soap were extremely kind and very attentive to the needs of travelers, sending clear directions ahead of trip time and maintaining multi-lingual files with suggestions on restaurants... We stayed in Aguglia Agriturismo for eight nights in early June 2014 and would certainly be going back. It is located in a quiet area surrounded by hills and olive trees, about 8 km from Palazzolo Acreide (lovely little town boasting three impressive churches, a Greek amphitheatre and a number of excellent restaurants serving local cuisine) and 23 km from... This is an excellent place to stay and we could not find any faults. Our room was spacious, light & airy, comfortable and very well appointed (large teapot and kettle provided!). The bathroom was also well appointed (free slippers provided). Everything was very, very clean. Our private terrace was a great space to relax in the evening. The outside public... More

Very helpful and friendly host. The room is spacious and the bathroom is quite a decent size also. Breakfast is served in a nice room/kitchen with a porch if you'd like to be outside. There are choices of fresh fruits, eggs, quiches, breads and homemade pastries. In terms of location, It's in a relatively remote area but perfect for tranquility... More

We stayed at Aguglia for 3 nights as part of a tour of Sicily for our 25th wedding anniversary. The place is 10 minutes from Palazzo Acriede, a World Heritage site and lovely town unspolied by tourism. Noto is 30 minutes away along the sp24. We chose Agulglia as a place to relax after the previous city stops. The rooms... More

We visited for a Christmas 2012 time festa and Aguglia was very impressive. Beautiful place, and the owner and his daughter were most welcoming and kind. The staff was most understanding of a gluten allergy, going well out of their way to accomodate us, including the chef and the wait staff and the food and wine was like something out... More

We stayed at Aguglia Agriturismo in September (2012) for 3 days. It was a most relaxing and peaceful stay in beautiful countryside. Nothing was too much trouble for Daniela, always full of advice on where to go, what to see, where to dine etc. Breakfasts were excellent, fresh and plentiful. It is especially nice to have breakfast on the terrace.... More

We made the mistake of setting off for Daniela's beautiful agriturismo by car before receiving Daniela's driving directions, and had a tough time of making our way from Catania with our lousy driving map and lack of road signs along the way. But the scenic route was indeed gorgeous, and once we made it here, we were welcomed with a... More

The location of this Oasis of tranquillity is everything! Aguglia Agriturismo is situated in the middle of a farming area, but within an hours driver to many places of interest, parks and 10 minutes to a variety of restaurants .Though the excellent rooms are in converted farm out buildings, they are well away from the working farm, in there own...
