I'm an experienced traveler and used to stay at many hotels of different rank but it's the first time I have such a negative impression. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel if you are not a local guy as foreigners are seem to be unwelcome there. Here are some notes from our 10-day stay in the hotel:... More

L'Esagono is a good resort, the rooms are very simple but equipped with everything you need for a one week stay with your family, your friends or your partner. It is very clean and practical. It is located right in front of the small beach of Cala Ambra, which surprisingly is not really equipped, but at 10 or 20 minutes... More

I have just spent five days in this hotel with my partner. We had a very relaxing time and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is overlooking a beautiful beach. It was very busy with lots of families with small children, being the height of season but we always managed to find a spot. The beach is small and the... More

If you want a nice hotel, which is situated on a nice (if small) beach, with its own pool and restaurant and bar, then this place is a good choice. It has a little train which takes you into San Teodoro once an hour, or so, so it's handy enough. The walk into town would be tiring in the heat,... More

First and foremost: The hotel is located next to an open air night club called "Ambra night" which does not close before 5 am! This means there's lots of music, cheering, racing scooters, and cars all night long. If you're a light sleeper, I would definitively pick another hotel. Virtually all rooms are affected by the noise, but those close... More

Firstly, don't visit San Teodoro without hiring a car. Public transport is an absolute nightmare on Sardinia. You cannot get around at all. After walking 3km with heavy suitcases from the only bus stop we finally arrived at hotel lesagono. The blonde lady at front desk was nice. And thank goodness our room was as far back as possible from... More

We spent a week here mid May and cannot recommend it enough. The main draw card, is the loaction of the hotel as it's practically right on the beach. The views are breathtaking, the water is crystal clear and it really feels like you are in paradise. We were very impressed with the Hotel itself. Beautifully kept grounds and all... More
