When we travel, we enjoy living among regular people as well as being in the country, and Francesca and Juan's B&B fits the bill, not to mention that we got to live in a trullo for a few days. The location is good for visiting the trulli district of Alberobello, doing local hiking in parks, and visiting towns like Ostuni,... More

THis is an experience that we passed with mixed feelings. Yes, it is possible to put a bed and a shower/toilet into a building that looks like a trulli (and may very well be one), but it is something we'd do over. Probably not. Maybe it was because we got a very small one and probably would have paid more... More

We stayed for a few days at Riposo del Vento last summer and enjoyed the place very much. It is quiet and peaceful, the trulli are small but well equiped, with pleasant terraces in the countryside. The breakfast is hearty and the swimming pool very pleasant, and Francesca and her help are nice and helpful. It is a good choice... More

We recently stayed at the Riposo del Vento for three nights whilst touring Southern Italy. The actual trullo we stayed in was great and the room had a nice ambience. The hostess was helpful but did somehow manage to keep her distance. The animals did not have the same mind-set and breakfasts were accompanied by two friendly dogs and several... More

My partner and I stayed in a Trullo for 3 nights during our trip touring about Southern Italy. The experience was lovely and we really enjoyed the building and the atmosphere that went with it. The location was perfect for us in order to visit the area as it was close to all the main towns such as Cisternino, Ostuni,... More

We had a lovely two day stay here, Francesca was very warm and welcoming and provided us with excellent breakfasts, a delicious ricotta omelette was memorable. The location was perfect, close to Cisternino so we could drive and have our supper there easily, quiet and restful for relaxing, the weather in April is warm and it's not crowded, so we... More

Wonderful place, trulli very nicely renovated while at the same time maintaining a rustic feel to them. Great pool and variouls relaxing areas with hammocks throughout the olive trees orchard. Awesome private patio with a lot of space to relax and have our meals for when we did not feel like going to a restaurant in the nearby towns. We... More

What a beautiful find. Francesca and her family were warm and welcoming. The lamia we stayed in for five nights was snug and hugely comfortable, if a little small - but the trulli, which sleep larger groups, have better cooking facilities. The pool is lovely with wonderful views. Brilliant location for beaches, trips to local towns, and you can walk... More

We were a group of ten persons made up of five family couples. We stayed at Il Riposo del Vento from the 2nd to the 9th June 2011. This property is located in the open countryside in Casalini near Cisternino. Accommodation is in Trulli and Lamie. The rooms although not very big are both clean and comfortable. Although I have... The trulli is tucked away up in the rolling hills amongst a community of small holdings. There are two suites and communal sitting/dining area with well equipped kitchen in one trulli cluster and additional stone accommodation adjacent. The trulli has been meticulously restored to retain the authenticity of the stone building but include modern amenities. The trulli is cosy and... More
