Fontana Vecchia is a lovely family run B&B. We stayed in a typical Trulli house. The house was nicely furnished with a kitchen and it's own back yard to sit outside. The sleek pool area is a nice place to be on a sunny afternoon. The breakfast was amazing with different things to try every morning. I'd definitely recommend the... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Fontana Vecchia. The trulli are set in a beautiful orchard where the the owners grow cherries, figs, vegetables and plenty of other goodies. Maria, Baggio and their son were really friendly, warm-hearted and welcoming. The room was lovely, with a nice bathroom and a comfy bed. It was quiet at night and we had... More

We enjoyed our trullo house room, but best of all, the hosts are very warm and welcoming. We will most certainly return and stay longer next time! It is a peaceful location surrounded by beautiful landscape.

In the midst of olive groves and orchards you find this wonderful building converted from the traditional stone-built Truli. It is only a small place so it is nice and quiet. It has a wonderful pool and a good place to relax. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts they serve are stunning. They were very happy... More

A wonderful B&B situed in the countryside. If you need some rest in a peaceful spot or if you want to visit the beautiful valley of Itria; this is the place to stay. The owners Maria, Bagio and Vincenzo will take good care of you and provide a delicious breakfast. The rooms and trulli are decorated with great taste and... More

It was one of the best accommodation choices we made during our 20days in Italy. The owner couple and their grown son made us feel so comfortable despite the language barrier (we didn't speak much Italian.. sorry!!) and we chit-chatted for hours in their dining room before being shown our room when we checked in. They are so nice and... More

What a lovely place. Fantastic people, peace and quiet, perfect weather and so many places to see. The combination of personal attention and the overall setting is just picture perfect. Thanks to Maria, her husband and Vincenzo. You made our stay so much more than just a place to sleep.

Our stay at FV was so wonderful!!! The host family were the sweetest couple- picking us up from the train station upon arrival and even extending their breakfast hours to accommodate our jet lag. The meals were amazing and the smell emanating from the cherry tree orchards reminded me of warm cherry pie. We visited in June 2012 before the... More

We had the pleasure of staying here October, 2011 for three nights and enjoyed every moment. The hospitality was wonderful. We really enjoyed our accommodations. You definitely need a car to get to and from this place as it is in the countryside but still very close to Alberobello by just a few minutes. Do not miss the Grotto which... More
