The cordiality and helpfulness of the staff alone can compensate the fact that this hotel is probably hardly fitting the idea you may have of a 4 stars hotel. But you have a comfortable bath tub in the bathroom instead of the usual shower (okay...the showerpipe was slightly leaking, but who cares when you are relaxing, plunged in the warm water...),... Visited again for my fifth time in two years. As usual the staff were excellent, breakfast was better than normal and room was clean and tidy. The staff here are always so helpful and Tatiana on reception was particularly helpful. Nice display of Senna and McLaren memorabilia in the corner.

I was surprised when I actually saw the hotel. I thought it was a joke. This in no way compares to any of the 4 star hotels I have stayed in anywhere else. Traveling alone on business so I had a room with a very tiny single bed strategically placed in the room between the headboard where a queen or... More

This is supposed to be a 4star hotel and it might have passed the tick boxes to acquire this status but it does not feel like a 4star hotel. There is no garden surrounding the hotel, therefore there was nowhere to have a quiet pre-dinner drink or to sit out in the afternoon. Basically, it is a business hotel and... More

The Castello is a modern concrete box attached to the Artemide Congress centre. Inside it is comfortable, clean, modern quiet. It is situated on the edge of the town, with parks and walks on the doorstep. The breakfast room is light and airy and the breakfast abundant, from scrambled eggs to fruit, rolls, cheese and so on. The rooms are... More

Stayed here for two nights in Feb. hired a suite as the cost is only about £87. Love the place, staff are always friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. I will only ever stay here when in Italy. Please keep up the good work.

Stayed here during a business trip to the Bologna area. We picked this hotel by a coinsidence, and it turned out to be a very good choice. The hotel is plain but nice and clean. The staff are very service minded and always ready to fulfill our requests. My verdict is that this is great value for money and suitable... More

I booked this hotel for one reason and one reason only, I am an Ayrton Senna fan and wanted to spend the night in the hotel room he spent his final night in. I learnt this from the books i have read about him and with that in mind i booked a room at this hotel. I emailed the hotel... More

We stayed twice on a business trip to Bologna. It is a bit far from the centre but a 15 minute walk would do you no harm. Rooms are clean and quiet, staff friendly and helpful.

I visited this hotel many times. Recommend this Hotel for a city trip or business trip. It is a little ouside the centre but reachable within a 10minute walk or by bus. The rooms are OK and are being renovated, the restaurant food is good although on the expensive side.
