And yes! I came back as promised two years ago! All the good ''staff' had not changed at all. But we did saw some welcomed renovations as the outdoor pool (now I am seriously dreaming of visiting mazaraki guesthouse during summer as well), and the little shop with the amazing handmade soaps. The two girls in the reception could not... More

Even in wintertime (half February) a very nice location. The small village of Poulianadika is easy to find and so is the hotel. Warm welcoming. And the room! A large (45m2) room with a cosy place to sit/relax at an open fire (if you like). Beautiful bathroom with whirlpool. The view from the large balcony is outstanding. The large bed... More

The hotel is in a magical location on the side of the mountains above Sparta. The rooms are split among several separate buildings. The rooms were designed and decorated by a set designer and are an interesting combination of wood and concrete. Our room (Sky 1) had two balconies, one facing the mountains and the other overlooking the valley and... More

My second visit this year to the Mazaraki, and defiantly I hope not my last. The setting is amazing half way up a mountain with views of Sparta below. Accommodation clean fresh, and all rooms a different theme. We rented Branch apartment, with a log fire to keep out the autumn chill and Sky room, second time in Branch ample... More

We had a wonderful stay at Mazaraki Guesthouse just a couple of weeks ago. We were three couples and all of our rooms were charming, comfortable and cleverly decorated. The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was great. When the next day turned out to be too rainy to visit the nearby castle, the staff suggested going to the... More

This is a lovely calm place to stay near to Mystra, I won't hesitate to recommend it. We went in mid-October when the weather was around 28°C during the day and the sun rising over Sparta in the morning was magnificent. The ladies running the guesthouse are very kind and professional and breakfast from our basket on the balcony was... More

We are 3 couples vacationing together in Greece. We stayed one night in this hotel. The rooms were just ok. They asked us to keep the hot water heater turned off until we needed hot water. The weather was cold and the room heater did not work. The breakfast was good. The price was too high considering the quality of... More

Wonderful stay here and the rooms were outstanding. We arrived during a driving rainstorm and the management were very nice show us the room and provide umbrellas to get us to our room. There was a quaint and great restaurant right up the hill from the Guesthouse and the food was terrific and very reasonable. One of our best nights... More

We had the luxury suite: it was wonderful! Breakfast is delicious, room is gorgeous, view fantastic and host adorable! The whole experience is the equivalent of a top 4 star hotel. Guesthouse situate near restaurants and a couple minutes from Mystras.

We stopped 1 night here as we wanted to visit Mystras antique site. It was a very very good surprise as this place is full of charm. The cottages are entirely refurbished keeping old stone style outside but very modern inside. Big space, allwood and stone inside with equiped kitchen, terrass, tv etc. the place is arbored and has a... More
