The location of this hotel is the one thing that no reviewer deny. It faces south on the peninsular of the island and the beach is a real sun trap. Long stretches of sand, quiet, and water warm enough to swim in. Most rooms had a sea view, and the views in the morning are unforgettable. Beautiful Xi beach is... More

My sister in law booked this one for the family. It's not my kind of place but I can see the appeal if you just want a beach and a non descript place to stay. The rooms were modern and clean. The pool was big and the kids loved it. The food, well, let's just say it left something to... More

Once more we travelled with trepidation. I chose this holiday largely on convenience of flights. After booking I became aware of the comments such as sewage smells, cold food, one small glass of wine, beach sand and mud, hotel bar not open. I did wonder, but was too cowardly to mention to my wife and hoped for the best. As... More

After reading the previous reviews we were worried about our 2week break at this hotel. We had already asked for an upper floor room and thankfully it was on the first floor not overlooking the pool. The room was nice. The best beds I have ever had in Greece. Shower was a bit naff but it worked & we had... More

Just got back from spending a week a the "Cephalonia Palace" I stayed between 23rd - 30th Sept. After reading loads of reviews on TA from everything from 'terrible' to 'excellent' and little in between, I was slightly concerned by some of the reviews. however I decided as per my travels previously to go with an open mind. Whilst everyone... More

The hotel is certainly NOT a 3* but we were more than happy with the location, pool and surrounding gardens, both bars, restaurant (apart from the slight ramp which appears to be due to the extension ), food which was good quality and choice. ALL the Staff were EXCELLENT. ...! HOWEVER:- As with other comments the rooms are basic and... More

This really is a lovely Hotel and has some of the best Staff I've ever met. Everything very good and upwards with the exception of 'end of season tiredness' Bathroom needed a deep clean and new shower head, shower curtain and loo seat. Bedroom very clean and sheets changed daily! TV's still of the analogue CRT era, but good enough... More

A little disappointed that no lift or ramps for wheelchair users, I travelled with my daughter in law and my elderly mum who took her own wheelchair as she struggles to walk far. I presumed as on the photos, the front of the hotel had a ramp to the main door, that there would be ramps elsewhere to the 3... More

First we got one of the worst rooms in that hotel, I think. It was at the very end, on the ground floor that seemed to be more like basement. When the rain was raining, the floor was dirty and wet. We had asked for another room, and finally got it next day. The other room was quite nice and... More

Stayed here last week for 7 nights as a couple. Hotel is average. Bathroom needed updating and needed a bit of tlc to clean away the stained grout and seal around the bath. Water was always hot. Shower head was blocked and did not spray Husband rectified this. We had room 201 which was overlooking the restaurant. There are no... More
