Wow what can I say. Arriving at the hotel at 1300 hours we were absolutely blown away with how lovely it was. It brought a tear to both of us just how romantic it was with the amazing view out to Petani bay. We were met by John and offered a welcome drink whilst we sat overlooking the turquoise water... the Petani bay hotel has everything you need for a relaxing get away from it all holiday, the views across the Ionian sea, especially at sunset are quite simply breathtaking ! it has a tranquil and feel good atmosphere where nothing is too much trouble. Its mostly couples, but from all age groups and because there are a small amount of suites within... More

We've just got back from a week at the Petani Bay Hotel. What makes this place special is the genuine warm welcome, friendliness and "nothing is too much trouble attitude" of Voula and her staff. Voula was there to meet us and say goodbye in person and at every stage of our holiday was there to offer advice about where... More

A friend recommended Petani Bay to us and we could not be more grateful. The whole experience was completely wonderful. For reasons beyond our control we booked our holiday about five days before we flew. From the moment, I contacted John and Voula, they could not possibly have been more helpful. The hotel filled up during the two or three... More

We stayed at the Petani Bay Hotel for two weeks and we do not recognise any of the few negative reviews. The hotel is at the higher end of the price scale and therefore leaves itself open to value for money criticism but we had a wonderful holiday. Yes a car is essential and the roads are not to everyone's... More

Just returned from a 7 night stay at the hotel which is located overlooking the Aegean sea close to a beach and several restaurants, a car is essential if you are staying here as there are very few locations within easy walking distance and to get the most out of your stay on the Island you will need transport. It... More

This hotel offers only rather little value for money. Location and view are great, but the hotel is definitely overpriced and can only recommended for dog-lovers. Highlight of my stay: While I was having breakfast, the owner's dog was shitting on the lawn outside. We had booked eight nights in this hotel, but left after 4 nights (without any refund)... More

Thank you, Voula and John! We had such a wonderful week. Your hotel, in its idyllic location, will be hard to beat. Missing the glorious poolside view and balcony drinks already! Hills, goats, beach, mythos. We hope to be back before too long. Claire and Dan.

This hotel is near the beach Petani, another precious gem in our hotels collection. Silence, privacy, tranquility and space. We admired the beauty of the sea, rocks, the balcony and of great, clean pool. Grounds are very well maintained. The room we had was gorgeous, spacious, stylish. With stunning, high, wooden ceiling. We liked service staff-considerate and caring. Special words of gratitude for wonderful Voula.... More

This was our first trip to Kefalonia and we consider ourselves very lucky to have found this gem of a hotel. The whole hotel and it's grounds are immaculately well maintained, you are spoilt for choice with the outside space, there is a large, clean infinity pool overlooking the crystal clear waters of the sea just beyond the cliff below...
