We´ve met this place for the first time and we were amazed. The location near Cochem is perfect, quiet despite the proximity of the street, parking free just under your window with nice view at the Moselle river. The owner and his wife are very kind and friendly people, perfectly communicating in English, taking care of your needs. Outstanding wineries... More

Our last hotel during a 2 weeks trip. We wanted to book a hotel near the moesel river, but not in overly expensive and overcrowded Cochem. Ernst is a but dull itself, but we had a nice relax day. If you look well there is enough to do. This hotel was well located in the middle of the town and... More

We stayed here one night with two kids. The service was very friendly and Andre gave us recommendations of places and travelling. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed that day, so we did not have the possibility to taste the food that was highly recommended in TripAdvisor. The breakfast was good quality and variety. Good location next to the road but... More

We stayed with Michael and Marta last month and had a very enjoyable stay with this lovely couple and family. The room was spotlessly clean and overlooked the road and river. There was very little traffic at night so that wasn't a problem. There was plenty of food choice for breakfast and Marta is an excellent cook for an evening... More

I have stayed at this place with a friend for one night! It is a cosy and very Nice b&b!parking right across the street! The Only thing that one might complain about is the stairs! You have to walk stairs to come to the guest Rooms! There is no elevators! The host's were very Nice, (Ask theme about sightseeing tips... More

I spent much time on Trip Advisor researching hotels and inns to stay in Cochem. I preferred to find a charming B&B, and the top reviews for Haus Schwarzenberg were right on. The location in Ernst on the Moselle River is 5 minutes by car or bus to Cochem. The rooms are simple (by U.S. standards perhaps spartan), but spotless... More

What a great place! The location in Ernst was perfect walking distance to get around town. The rooms were large and comfortable. Big breakfast with lots of options. Hosts were amazing. I think the best aspect of the Haus was the entire ambiance and location. The moselle river is beautiful, the countryside is beautiful, and the Haus was a perfect,... More

Just left Haus Schwartzenberg after a 4 day stay. Great location to visit the mosel valley. Hosts Michael and Marta are wonderful. Great breakfast and dinner with advance arrangements. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone planning to visit this area.

nicely situated by the river in a quiet little village just a few minutes drive from cochem. had a large room for 2 adults and a child. all beds comfortable and childs bed was just that, not a camp or sofa bed. rooms a bit austere but then the price you pay reflects this.room and bathroom clean and well maintained... Situated next to the river Moselle (across a road) this was a lovely little hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with an excellent array of meats and cheeses. Michael and Marta were very friendly and he gave good advice about sight seeing and where to visit. Room and bathroom were large and clean and the beds were comfortable. we did not have... More
