Beautifully situated hotel. Interesting brewery with beer to go in large growlers. Sat in the casual bar area and enjoyed espresso mit sahne and waffles with hot cherries. Lovely property and would stay here if in the area.

Beautifully located hotel with immaculate room, great views, helpful desk staff, efficient room maids who clean the room whilst you are at breakfast ! The breakfast is included in the price and is a self service buffet in the dining room with all the usual, hot sausage/ bacon etc, cold meats and cheeses, bread and rolls, jams butters and various... I have stayed here (or eaten here) off and on over very many many years. It now appears to be part of the 'Ring' chain. Its located in quite a beautiful part of Germany and not too far from Hameln (of Pied Piper fame), the river Weser (where the Rats ended up), Hannover Airport and various spa towns that are... More

I stayed here for business about 10 years ago for about a week. I imagine it hasn't changed much since then so I figured my review would be still accurate. A nice hotel on the outskirts of town and also right on the edge of the forest with plenty of trails to walk on. A brewery on site: what can... More

Staff: All very friendly and helpful and attentive. Breakfast: A very nice buffet with lots of opportunities and nice things to eat both warm and... More

Oh if this isn't the best way to experience Germany. Freshly brewed beer, good german food, your standard great german breakfast. Unground parking kind of nice to. Good rooms, the place didn't blow me away but I've very happily spend a night there again.

I chose this hotel because it was near the hospital where my wife was born. It was then a British Army hospital but now is run by the local establishment as a hospital for the local community. I wanted the visit to be special. My wife is now 53 and this was the first time she had visited her town... More

When arriving at htis hotel you are pleasantly surprised by the exterior of the building and its surroundings. Inside it is a differnt story. The public spaces are dreadful. We are talking 1970's. Judging from the pictures of their rooms I expected something a lot more modern. Unfortunately only the rooms have been refurbished. The staff was very friendly and... More

This is a very nice property, well managed and well kept. Room was large, modern, well equipped and nicely furnished, the bathroom was more than adequate in size, everything was in perfect running order. The location is very quiet .... this is the only drawback .... you feel quite isolated once you have reached the hotel .... but if you... More
