A beautiful week-end in the middle of the beautiful Franconia's vineyards. After an over three hours' walk to Schwanberg and back, a well-deserved overnight stop at Gasthof zum Storch. Enjoyed the meal, the wine degustation and the cozy atmosphere. Everywhere in the Gasthof you can see love for details and respect for the guests.

We have eaten at the restaurant here many time now and the food is always excellent. The local wine from the village and from Zum Storch's own Cellar and Vineyards are outstanding. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The menu normally has a number of local Franconian dishes and often includes a few Mediterranean type foods. Franconian cuisine at it's... More

Excellent food although staff a little overstretched/undertrained at peak times. Almost in the centre of this lovely little wine town. Very cosy indoors. Shady, leafy courtyard for the summer. Very wide choice of food and excellent wines.

A very varied choice of dishes, prepared and presented very well! On this last occasion (August 2012) waiting was a little bit long, but we also arrived near the closing hours of the kitchen. There were four of us, each one could find a different, very satisfactory choice.

This was our fourth time to the Zum Storch Restaurant. It was a warm sunny day so we sat outdoors. There are nicer courtyards, but we go there for the food. It is not cheap but it is quite good, and worth the price. The pork steak covered in a mixture of goat cheese and Bärlauch was delicious, although it... More

Review of the inn “Zum Storch”, Prichsensadt, Franconia, Germany I would like to make a general comment about these reviews and their usefulness. The reader of reviews has to use some judgement and try to read between the lines. We know by now that some reviewers are always hard to please. Another type of reviewer is overly enthusiastic and likes... More

My room was very good, not too expensive as a double for single occupancy. Spacious, airy with balcony and nice view of the garden and church towers. The interior decoration wasn't glamorous but pretty pleasent for a few days stay. Tv-sat was too small to watch something a bit longer but ok. for watching a daily news. The bathroom was big,... More

We celebrated our family reunion here with about 20 people. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. We had several little kids and they provided toys, warmed milk, kids menus and were very tolerant of the boisterous energy of kids. The rooms were mixed. Some of the rooms had been updated and were very nice. The... More
