I have stayed here several times over the years and still love the peace and quiet. This is a bit outside Munich but with access by train or one drives 30 minutes looping around the city and on the AI autobahn towards Austria and Italy destinations. The hotel has two wings, the newer wing above the library has very spacious... More

We stayed in this fabulous hotel for two nights to attend the wedding of my nephew and his fiancée and the associated festivities. What a wonderful experience. Our room was in the main house and many of the others stayed in the attached lodges. The rooms were of the highest quality and comfort and the food was great. The staff... More

I spend 4 night in this hotel and I was satisfied. The staff is very nice, the room are spacious, clean and decorated with Bavarian Style. Breakfast is good. The hotel is located in the small village of Aying which is know for its brewery (very good beer!). It is really remote (nothing to do except the visit of the... More

Charming and comfortable quintessential Bavarian Inn located in an adorable brewery town close to Munich. Great "beer hall" as well as formal restaurant on the grounds. A short train ride from Munich.

Dear Melissa, thank you so much for your kind review! We really appreciate that you liked our ensemble which is so close to Munich, but otherwise homelike and contemplative. The perfect village for a timeout! We are looking forward being your host again one day! Kind regards The Inselkammer family and the whole team of Brauereigasthof Hotel Aying More

Located in the small Bavarian town of Aying, the hotel is right across from the Saint Andreas church and cemetery. The quaint hotel is owned by the Inselkammer family, the owners of the Ayinger Brewery mini-empire. It is said that the family owns more than half the town of Aying. Our hotel suite had enough space that we were able... More

We stayed once more at Ayinger Hof to enjoy their great cuisine -- once again no disappointment. Mention deserve the deer stew as well as pigling in beer sauce. Also great to see that the menu is available in English.

Nice and cosy hotel in a small village. Just 30 miles south of central Munich this hotel is a great place to stay. Everything is nice and proper typical regional Bavarian style. Food is also local typical and what you would expect here. Beer is "home brewn" and also excellent. You can reach the hotel by train + a 10... More

Dear Checker2, thank you so much for your review! We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us in Aying. This privately owned, well known brewery restaurant and hotel is a little gem on the outskirts of Munich. Loved the beer garden and room and think everything is priced fair. Given that we had a pretty humid and warm summer day, our room temp was in the upper 80's - with no a/c, opening the windows is your choice to... More
