The Ochsen is a good alternative if you want to tour the region and not fight big city congestion in Ulm. Blaubeuren is only a few train stops from Ulm, but keep in mind that the hotel is a 20 minute walk from the Bahnhof if you walk briskly. The hotel consists of an old and new section. We chose... Room brilliant only draw back to room 43 is it's at the top of the building but great they have a lift till you get to the 3rd floor and find out there is 2 flights of wooden steps to get to your room, you have a top box and two pannier bags plus helmet and riding gear awkward mmmm... More

Stayed for one night - very nice big clean rooms and perfect food and service in the restaurant. :-) We had a big family room on the top floor. If we are in the area we will for sure come back. The gimmick at the Stamtisch is also great.... The hotel is placed at a quiet place in the center... More

On my arrival I found there was no reservation for the garage I reserved by telephone and had to park in the parking place. The room was very nice and the bed was top quality and one you could adjust it(these beds are mostly standard in Switzerland but in Germany practically unknown), unfortunately the plastic cup in the bath room... We stayed for three nights because all the good hotels in Ulm were booked due to some convention. It is centrally located in the old part of the little town of Blaubeuren. The room was spacious enough, the bathroom very convenient. The elevator was the quietest one I have ever seen - you could not hear it coming standing in... More

Full disclosure, I have family in Blaubeuren, but this time (first time ever) we stayed in a hotel due to a family gathering and there was no room in the family home. Usually I rate a hotel based on value for money, not on the supposed star system that big name hotels thrive on. I have stayed in many european... More

We stayed here 2 nights with family and friends in June and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The rooms are large and comfortable and very clean. I wouldn't call that luxury but it is more than adequate and comfortable. There was free wifi throughout the hotel, including in the rooms, and limited parking on the grounds. Breakfast was... More

This little hotel is nicely located int the charming Blaubeuren old town. Only a few minute walk to beautiful Blautopf spring. Our room was very spacious and spotless clean with free wi-fi and the window looks out to the red roofs of the old town. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast buffet was big with lots of varieties... More

We were looking for a hotel during a recent visit to Legoland in Günzburg, and this hotel is about forty minutes drive away (I was put off by some of the mixed reviews for the Legoland partner hotels). It's located down a quiet street in the town, with ample parking at the side of the hotel (all full, but the... More

Blau Beuren was a hidden treasure and the hotel seemed perfect. Our room was spacious and all three beds were comfortable. But there were problems. When we arrived we asked if we could park in the street in front of the hotel, and were told it would be OK. Coming back from our explorations of the town, we discovered that... More
