This was booked by Macs Adventures and even though we had to walk our bags up from the train station - wee bit of a hill - it was a wonderful place to stay and would love to stay again and longer. Dinner and breakfast very nice.

It's a little outside of Chamonix but if you have transportation, it's well worth it to stay here. Beautiful setting, extremely accommodating staff (the day we were there the owner looked at the weather report and recommended an alternative activity because the mountain would be foggy and "it would be a waste of your money". He even provided water and... More

If you're looking for a place away from the noise of Chamonix, this is an excellent choice. It is a small hotel where the staff is most helpful and friendly. After the first day they greet you like family. The dining room chef is excellent. They offer a daily dinner special that is excellent and very good value.

Very good hotel outstanding views across the valley to Mt Blanc, rooms were nice and have balconies hotel has a nice bar and lounge and outdoor seating area, I had the set menu for the day in the restaurant and it was excellent and good value. There is a train station nearby excellent for visiting Chamonix and surrounding villages.

This is a rave review hotel with an unbelievable view of Mt. Blanc from your front facing room (a small extra charge). Internet access is slow but a minor issue. The breakfast buffet was very good with cheeses, yogurt, meat, cereal, rolls, eggs, pancakes, juices, and coffee/tea. We were able to dine on the patio while viewing Mt. Blanc. The... More

From the moment we drove up to this lovely place we felt welcomed and valued. The owner, Vincent, is incredibly friendly and helpful. He helped us plan outings and dinner reservations in town. The breakfast was quite tasty and included items we haven't had in European buffets before, such as pancakes and maple syrup. There was even hot chocolate mix... More

The entrance area is very welcoming and the communal rooms are very cosy. There are lovely walks from the doorstep. The rooms themselves are pretty basic but the view is fantastic. The only issue is that it is up a hill from the road out of Les Houches, which is itself a small village 20 minutes away from Chamonix. There... More

Great hotel with lots of cosy corners by the log fire for relaxing after a long days skiing. Very helpful friendly staff, nice spacious room. Good restaurant and bar but no tea or coffee making in rooms which would have been nice. Free shuttle to and from skiing in les houches but chamonix skiing is a bus ride away.

I begin by saying this is a bipolar experience. The actual bedrooms are - as the official rating states - 2 star. However, the really interesting thing is that the restaurant and communal areas of the hotel are 4 star. The result is that you get a lot more bang for your buck. Restaurant was excellent, all the serving staff... More

Just make sure you have your winter tyres on (I did not) and you will experience great value and relaxation. It is a 15 min drive from Chamonix and there is nothing really around - walking to Les Houche will probably take 20-30 min. Rom was smallish but clean and warm. I did not have a view and lived in...
