The hotel is what it says own the tin - basic room in great location next to Bellevue Lift at a very reasonable price. The rooms are sizeable, clean, warm, towels and good showering facilities. 150m from the cable car in Les Houches and the bus stop providing free access (if lift pass purchased) to the rest of Les Houches and... This hotel has had some bad reviews. As a 2 star hotel goes it ticks all the necessary boxes.Great location with decent size rooms and when you get greeted at 2am after a 5 hour delay from Dover you feel it right to put a possitive review forward.mr delaney

This is a terrible hotel. The people who run it are awful. From the initial booking experience and then all the way through. Terrible, terrible, terrible ... and not worth a $1 to stay there so forget how cheap it looks. That is enough said. If it's the last place available in town, stay somewhere close and get one of... We stayed here on our TMB and one night was enough. If I turned up here for my main holiday I would cry. It had a "half way house" type feel to it, vinyl flooring, echoey corridors, like a block of flats almost. The room was very basic but en suite. The staff were nice enough and allowed us to... More

GOOD • clean • warm • cheap BAD • staff are not that friendly and only speak French • The rooms smell like cheese • VERY basic • We didn't eat breakfast cause of the dreadful reviews (go to the Kitch Inn for coffee and toast - they are great, and cheap too)

The hotel is clean, warm, comfortable and there's free WiFi. The food - terrible with no bar. The location of the hotel is good and handy for ski lifts and the village centre where there are some descent restaurants.

In summary, fantastic value for money (75 Euro per room, per night), a central location, and would I stay here again – yes definitely! The hotel and our room was very clean, the room had nice ensuite (containing a superb modern power shower and plentiful hot water) with separate loo. The bed was big and comfortable and there was a... More

Perfect hotel for a long weekend skiing. The price was perfect, the location spot on for the lift, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. If you want luxury then don't stay here, if you want value for money then do ....simples!!! Breakfast was basic (coffee, hot chocolate, cereals, croissant and French bread with jam and butter but you... More

Stayed in May, and this place normally serves as skiing apartments in the winter. So in fact, it’s not a regular hotel, with reception staffed 24/7, and the room décor is rather simple. That said, the place is clean, and value for money good. Location (Les Houches) is around 5-7 min drive from Chamonix centre, not a walking distance though,... More
