I find my opinion about lodging on the TMB is influenced by what came before. After 3 nights in huts or worse, the Beau Site was heavenly. Favorite feature; the swimming pool with glacier view. How relaxing! The rooms were roomy compared to many others, there was an extra day bed in our double. We had a balcony that overlooked... More

Located centrally in Les Houches this hotel served as the perfect place to stay the night before setting off on the TMB. The couple who run the hotel are very good at what they do and very friendly and helpful. The place is well maintained and the food very tasty. On returning from the TMB it was our first port... Nice little hotel, good substantial breakfast. Les Houches itself is a pretty village and a traditional place to start theTour du Mont Blanc trek. One can eat dinner at Beau Site or go nearby to a brasserie.

My boyfriend and I stayed here the night before and the night we finished the TMB. The hotel is in a great location (right on the main road in the historic part of town not far from the TMB trail). We had a very spacious room that lent itself to getting our gear packed for the hike. We didn't eat... More

We stayed here at beginning and end of our hike at found the Beau Site very pleasant. The rooms were just fine, the location perfect and the breakfast one of the best we had. The propreitress is quite charming and she puts up with one's less than perfect French graciously. There's a pleasant little garden and a small pool and... More

We stayed here for three nights. One night before we hiked the TMB and two nights after. The room was spacious. The breakfast was good but a little expensive for what you get. The hotel is conveniently located on the TMB route. They also store your luggage for free,

Patrizia and her husband run a tight ship here, particularly in the busy TMB season. All the guests were hikers when we stayed and that meant we started breakfast at 7.30 (en masse) and were all out by 8am! Handled with aplomb by Patrizia and her husband. Room was decent size, nice view. En suite large and adequate. Lovely garden... More

The hotel is very nice, the breakfast superb, the room clean and a bit worn out, we were only disappointed by the lack of shower, a 70s bathroom with a bathtub, sink etc. Overall a good place to stay near the lifts. The family running it is very friendly and will give you all the info you need, they do... More

Spent 3 nights at the hotel with a friend and my 6 year old son . Had a warm welcome from the owners who were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and the hotel is well situated, within walking distance of slopes, supermarket and restaurants. Would definitely use it again if in the area.
