First and foremost: location, location, location : can't be more central, can't have a better view ! This hotel, an institution in the area, is your typical family owned and run hotel: Plus side: - good value for money - clean rooms - friendly and professional service - great traditional food (poisson en croute de sel, bouillabaisse, etc.) Minus side:... We came here by chance after getting out of a reservation at another hotel which was sub-standard. What a pleasant surprise! The location was beautiful; right on the port and walking distance to everything in town- restaurants and bars, beach, boats, and outdoor marche. Our room had been charmingly refurbished and was comfortable and up to date. Bathroom was clean... More

Fabulous location of this hotel, right on the charming port of Sanary-sur-mer. This is provided you get a room on the right side of the hotel, facing the port and sea. However room comfort is pretty much outdated. Bed, furniture and bathroom are not up to current standards so you end up paying mainly for the nice view.

We had stayed before, and love Sanary, but the hotel definitely needs to redo some of the rooms. The only room available was on the top floor, very very small, bathroom the same. We found soap and shampoo on our arrival, but it was never replenished any other time. The saving grace is the fantastic view and situation of the hotel.... More

I was confused when I read all the conflicting reports about this hotel. But now I know the deal. Some rooms have been redone and are nice while others have not been touched for years and are not so nice. We stayed the night in Sanary on our way back to Paris after a lovely trip to St Tropez. This... More

Our third time at this charming boutique hotel. The rooms we had have all been updated with simple but effective typical furniture. The bath rooms are fantastic with very modern fittings.A sea view is a must at this hotel as it is so very special and worth every penny. It is true that there is no lounge or bar but there are... This beautiful boutique hotel (no elevators though) is managed by the family's 3rd generation. They and their staff go out of their way to help you with absolutely anything you need (I was on crutches and travelling on my own). I have been there twice and very recently the rooms have been redecorated. Personally I prefer the rooms on the... More

Hotel well situated but badly managed. We were given a shoe box of a room which was a challenge to squeeze in a our baby's cot. Room was dirty and there was not lift. No concept of service what so ever, lady that runs the hotel is both rude and unprofessional. She seems to have done her best to train... More

We had a room overlooking the harbour, which was lovely, very restful. The room was modern and well appointed, with an excellent bathroom, comfortable bed and plenty of space. We didn't use the air-con, the air was so lovely, but it's there if you want it. The staff at the hotel are pleasant, especially the lovely lady who served our... More

We read the reviews in Trip adviser and reread them because they are very mixed. In the end we booked for 6 nights and are very glad we did.The hosts are both very charming and Madame speaks excellent English. We had a quiet room overlooking the back street with a lovely view of the harbour from the bathroom. The hotel has... More
