The city of Paris is a nice place to visit, but if you have a chance, rent a car and drive out to the Normandie region. I've always wanted to see the famous abbey Mont St. Michel, and Château de Boucéel, is located about 15 min from Mont. St. Michel. My friend Ken stayed here, and recommended this place. We... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Chateau Bouceel for two nights March 18th - 19th and were utterly charmed not only by the immaculately kept grounds and gorgeous rooms in this chateau but also by the honorable host and hostess of the estate, the current Count and Countess who have lovingly kept the property within the family. Although we had... More

My family felt like royalty while staying at this enchanting property back in August. The grounds, common areas, and our room were truly spectacular. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast in the beautiful dining room where we chatted with our warm and welcoming host, Count Regis. The chateau is a relatively quick and easy drive to Mont St. Michel, one of... More

We stayed only one night in order to visit Mont-St-Michel but wish it could have been more. The host was delightful, informative and very accommodating. The property is lovely, like stepping back in time but with modern amenities. Our room was very comfortable and inviting. What more could you want?

This is the third time that I've stayed at the Chateau de Bouceel, near the renowned Mont St-Michel (and only an hour away from maritime St-Malo). One of the chief reasons for choosing this place was its proximity to that landmark. But, on returning, I find that one of the chief reasons to visit is Count Regis, the ever-gracious host... More

With a group of 7 friends we stayed here for one night on our way to Brittany. What a mistake! We should have stayed two or three nights or even a week. Our entire group agreed that while we had a wonderful 10-day drive in western France, the Chateau and especially our host were the highlights. The Chateau itself is... More

I join the chorus of 5 etoile reviews for this beautiful property and its gracious resident owners/hosts. Mr. Regis de Roquefeuil greeted us warmly upon arrival on October 17, 2014 and was a welcome source of local information and recommendations over our 3 day/2 night stay in Oncle Francois' Room. Other guests we met during our stay, both Ameribecome familiarcan... More

If you are traveling to the Mt St. Michel area you must stay here. It is an experience you will remember. The chateau itself is an elegant old building very well kept and beautifully decorated. But more importantly are the stories of the family who has occupied the grounds since the 12th century. Your host - a true gentleman -... More

Château de Boucéel is amazing. The building is 250 years old and in a good condition. The surrounding of the chateau is beautiful and when the night fall, you will see the starry night. I enjoy my day in chateau. The host,Mr.Roquefeuil is a very friendly man. I late for my check-in for about 4 hours and he is still... More

I can not think of one negative thing about this Chateau. The count and his wife are so friendly and helpful. It was lovely to hear all of their stories and to have fantastic recommendations for local dinners and/or sightseeing. I had some of my best meals while in France based on their recommendations for dinner. From the moment we... More
