This was our third stay at Chateau Bouceel. It is unlikely to be our last. Trip Advisor reviews, ours included, tend to follow a pattern of opining on the adequacy and the cleanliness of the rooms, the choice of foods at breakfast, and more mundane topics like wifi and parking. While all of these things have been examined at Chateau... More

We were looking for a hotel near the Mont-St-Michel but not right by all the touristy stuff. My daughter found the Chateau on Trip Advisor and I'm so happy she did! It was the perfect place for our stay in the area. We spent two night here and it was like staying in a friend's beautiful home. It's a long... More

We had planned to stay two nights at Chateau de Bouceel, but ended up rearranging our plans so that we could remain one additional night because we loved being there so much! If we had known how lovely it was, we would have stayed there for the entire week, and just taken some day trips to the other towns we... More

The experience we had staying at Chateau de Bouceel was one of the most memorable of our trip to France. The impressive chateau, its history, and the family stories that go back hundreds of years made this a wonderful experience. Regis shared family stories of the 1940 - 1945 occupation of France, the resistance, and survival. It was an ideal... More

It is hard to compare Chateau Bouceel with hotels or other stays because it is more like staying in a friend's lovely, elegant home. We had looked for locations close to the coast but unique. This went way beyond our expectations. The setting, the home, the rooms and baths, the paintings and furnishings, the ambiance, the breakfasts were all so... More

Chateau des Bouceel has everything--beautiful setting, beautiful interiors, great comfort, genial and helpful host, great breakfast (included), good central location, and a reasonable price. it is not in a town, but is close to excellent restaurants and to Mont St Michel as well as many locations you would want to visit in Brittany and Normandy. The best part is you... More

Chateau de Bouceel is a fabulous Chateau that proved to be the highlight of our 10 days in France. Regis Roquefeuil was an outstanding host. He gave us a personal tour of his Chateau the morning before we departed, sharing the most colorful and interesting stories about the history of the Chateau and his family. I was so inspired by... Wish we could have stayed longer!! Such a beautiful place. The house is so grand and old fashioned as if you are living in 1900 and not 2015 with the decor and style and furniture, but everything works as 2015. Amazing look and feel. Will defenetly be coming back to stay when next in France! Lovely host and very interesting... More

The Count, to keep the chateau going in the family, rents out rooms, and let's you experience country chateau living. The Chateau is large, and if you ask he will give you a tour of some of it. The grounds are large and a walk around the pond and to the small church is interesting. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable... More

A lovely Chateau out in the country but only 20 minutes away from Mont Saint- Michel. Large sumptuous rooms with fine antiques. No phone,tv etc. so not for everyone. A quiet restful place good for reading and walking around the countryside. Regis, the host and owner is an element gentleman whose family has owned the Chateau for a long long... More
