This place was so wonderful that I'm compelled to write my first review ever to Trip Advisor. After staying with Liselotte for three days, my husband and I now feel that we have family to return to see in Marciac. Charming doesn't even begin to explain the warmth and hospitality of her place. We originally chose to stay because of... More

We stayed at Chez Liselotte whilst touring the Pyrenees. The internet photograph conjoured up a charming setting. The reality exceeded our expectations. Liselotte's flair for the eclectic defines the word "charm". Her style and manor creates the friendliest of atmospheres. The position of the house is just off the main square of Marciac and gives easy access, within walking distance,... More

Since I first visited Liselotte in May 2007, I’ve come back every spring. This “chambre d´hôtes” is situated in a quiet village, which is surprisingly well equipped with restaurants considering the small size of the village. But the main reason for returning is not the village and the surroundings but the B&B and Liselotte herself. In this medieval house, which... More

Very comfortable, friendly and Liselotte is an excellent host. Breakfast was fantastic. I would recommend this establishment to all visitors to Marciac. Our long journey from Scotland was made worthwhile with the warm welcome we received.

What a fantastic place! Lovely old french town house, each bedroom decorated individually - a bit like a "bijoux" hotel! Its on a quite street just off the square in Marciac, and the host is so friendly and relaxed ("breakfast at whatever time you like"!!!) The breakfast is fantastic - fresh bread, croissants, melon, strawberries and loads of homemade preserves.... More

We have stayed at Chez Liselotte three times since November 2006 and we shall return. The house is delightful - full of Liselotte's unusual and beautiful furniture and possessions. Liselotte is the perfect host, always keen to meet new people and ready with advice and ideas.

We have had a woderfull Easter weekend in a period property which has been lovingly restored; a mixture of 1800 century decor with modern facilities. A charming host in a lovely house in an unspoilt French village.

Beautiful decoration with real style (moulded plasterwork and all). Rooms are classy, spacious, very clean and with large en-suites. The host is charming and exceedingly friendly. Excellent breakfast. If you're touring in the Midi-Pyrenees - it's the place to stay. Marciac has a jazz festival in the summer.
