Mother and 13 year old travelling and Martin made us very welcome and took time to talk to Adam and explain the wondrous engineering of Pont du Gard and various other interesting things about his own property. Nice restoration in delightful village - nice courtyard but no garden. Would have been nice to have breakfast in garden.. Our room was... More

We had a bad experience here when my wife and I stayed for two nights. When it was time to pay, I was sitting with Martin at the table in the garden and my wife was upstairs in the room. I got some cash out but didn't have enough so I left the cash on the table, placed my bag... More

What a wonderful time I had at Martin's quaint stone house. I stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days (I extended 1 day simply because I fell in love with the place and the area that it was hard to leave it!). t's every bit I imagined it to be - charming, rustic and cosy, set in a quiet... More

Our family of 4 - including 2 small kids - had a wonderful time at Maison de Martin. The proprietors Martin and Monique invite you into their charming home and really share the local area with you. Martin was like our local tour guide, taking us for a short stroll around the village of Vers, and for a longer hike... More

I'm not sure what I've done in a past life, but it must have been good as I am fortunate enough to be able to stay in a place like Maison de Martin. Straight away you're welcomed in like an old friend with a glass of wine or a coffee, some tapas and good conversation! The village of Vers is... More

Maison de Martin is a lovely home within easy walking distance of Pont du Gard. It is, however, incredibly hard to find. Maps and GPS are virtually useless as the streets are narrow and change names on every corner. We must have driven by six times before we actually found the place. Their directions include someting about a "green door,"... More

We had a great time at Martin and Monique's! They were excellent hosts, very friendly, welcoming, and flexible, while leaving us space to feel at home in their lovely, and spotlessly clean guest house. We stayed for three nights and were really spoilt by them: fantastic breakfasts, Martin lent us umbrellas and accompanied us on our walk to the Pont... More

We absolutely loved our three-night stay at Maison de Martin. We stay here with our small daughter and it was just perfect. Monique and Martin were so hospital and Monique was just lovely with our little girl even taking her to feed the neighbour's chickens in the morning. The rooms are basic but have lots of character. Everything was spotlessly... More

We highly recommend this tranquil B & B. Although we only stayed 2 nights we felt we experienced authentic southern France thanks to the kindness and generosity of the hosts. Beside being in an amazing location and having caring hosts, the 2-story, stone B & B itself is exceptional. Three things for which we were particularly grateful include: the highspeed... More

Where do I begin? We loved every minute of our stay in Maison de Martin. Our room was large and pleasantly cool in the heat, and we fell in love with the town of Vers Pont du Gard. But it was the little things that made our stay excellent. The beautiful breakfast of fresh fruit salad, pastries and bread from... More
