Very charming hotel and very original rooms. Really too hot when we arrived, no air conditioning and sun against the big windows of our room even if in the night it was cooler than expected. No privacy in the bathroom, divided from the room with just some kind of wood walls and you could not open the window. The dinner... More

A very unusual hotel and very quirky decor. Breakfast excellent and dinner superb. Our room was a recent renovation and very modern. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We will visit Cluny again as the abbey was very interesting and if so we'll stay here again..........xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We have house in the region and eat here often. Have never been disappointed - one of our favourites. Although I have never stayed in a room, I hear they are charming. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Do not be put off by first impressions when you approach this hotel. We almost turned round and found somewhere else to stay as it looked so run down and tatty. However we were delighted when we went inside. Recently renovated (still ongoing, but not to affect guests), this is a great mix of the old and new, very quirky... More

We were a bit stuck for accommodation in Cluny so splurged a bit on the large suite so we could have one night. It was all a lovely surprise. The room is recently renovated, very large, and smartly designed. The restaurant was excellent as well. We were really surprised that the whole experience was so good. I guess we thought... More

This is an old ceramics factory which has been converted into a very quaint hotel. It's about 5 minutes walk from the town centre and abbey. Each room is obviously different. Ours was spacious with a large bathroom (actually it was the disabled persons' room). I found the shower to be inconvenient as there was no rail and being open,... More

We found this hotel when stopping for a night in Cluny during a trip by car to Paris. Hotel is in an ancient building and each room have different name. Our room was called "Sur le toits", very charming, wth fireplace, very nice balcony, wide and clean. The only minus was cold: we had to light the fireplace to get... More

Stayed in Annex. This was total misrepresentation as this was 1.5km up a very steep hill from actual hotel. The building itself was still under construction and was sold at chateau prices. The building itself was shared with a security guard that works in town. FELT LIKE I WA STAYING IN SOMEONE ELSES HOUSE - of someone I didnt know.... More
